Great cottage in downtown Ellijay. Clean and cute. Two full bedrooms and a flex space with a day bed. One full bath and one half bath. Absolutely huge kitchen! Lovely dining space and suuuuper comfy living room. A lovely space overall to relax and unwind in after a busy day out in north Georgia exploring the abundance of activities in the area (blue ridge train ride, hiking trails, Apple orchards, fall festivals in downtown Ellijay, the fainting goat winery… I mean the list actually goes on but you get the idea!). As bustling and packed as downtown Ellijay can be this was the perfect place to settle in at night for a quick walk to the town center - or start off with a quick stroll to the coffee shop in the morning. Just a perfect home base for our trip. The porch was cute too to sit and relax and the yard was well kept- but I wouldn’t say it’s a play space - this is very much a place to relax at home. Not a bad thing by any means but if you’ve got active kiddos keep them exhausted on the day trips and trails! We will definitely be back to Apple Cottage!! Gosh I can’t say enough positive things about this stay.

The home was convenient to downtown shops and restaurants, very clean, well accommodated, and invitingly warm. The mattresses were comfortable but the box springs were quite noisy and need to be replaced. A great choice for staying in Elijay — recommend.

House is as described and very close to everything you want to access downtown.

The inside of this house is impeccable: comfortable beds and couches, smart tv, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You couldn't ask for a better looking and well stocked home. The outside of this home is lovely with a wonderful covered deck with rocking chairs. And the town center is quite charming and only 3 blocks away. But the neighborhood this house sits in is not so desirable. There are rundown houses to the rear and 1 side. It's on a busy road with commercial development across the street and to the other side there is "Mr P's" drive-in restaurant. The cars start lining up at 5:30 a.m. and you can definitely hear them rev their engines. We did have a good time but wish the surroundings were better.

This property met our needs very well,it is very comfortable and we could tell owners tried to meet every need while we were vacationing

The house was very clean and beautiful! With downtown being in such a short walking distance we did not have to drive anywhere! We will absolutely be back! Highly recommend!

This cottage is beautifully decorated, but not at the sacrifice of comfort. Very clean. Location was the best!!!! Just a easy 2-3 min walk from town square with great shops and restaurants. Shops close early so couch was get comfortable place to hang out in the evening…oh and the front porch with rocking chairs also an excellent option for enjoying a meal or just talking. Beds were comfortable as well…kitchen is well stocked with cups/wine glasses, plates, utensils, cooking stuff. And Mr. P’s next door is such a wonderful added bonus (coffee, breakfast, lunch). The property manager called the day after we checked in just to make sure we were good and siding need anything. Thank you for offering such a perfect place for us to spend a quiet girls weekend and catch up with friends.

Very comfortable stay.

Stayed at this property for 5 nights and fell in love with the cottage. Everything was perfect, so close to everything. Already planning a return trip with my husband. Highly recommend this property and Mountain Oasis Rentals.

We absolutely loved staying at the Apple Cottage. Easy walk to all downtown shops and restaurants. Short 8-10 minutes to the grocery store. The house is decorated with great taste! A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, comfortable beds, and the office are came in handy for me since I needed to do a little work. The front porch was a favorite place to enjoy the weather and coffee. Plenty of seating in the living room too. Mr Ps next door was super convenient for the morning that we didn’t want to go far for breakfast. Definitely plan to return!

We were in town for a wedding and found this little gem. It is beautifully decorated. It feels like it should be nestled in the woods somewhere (that would have been awesome). Walking distance to a quaint little downtown. Lots of fun spots to hit for food. We spent most nights sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs. 💞 It is on “Main Street” so you do hear loud trucks go by (which there seems to be an abundance of).

The property is lovely, updated recently and decorated very nicely which is not as common. It is in a mixed business area to include some commercial buildings, so it does not have that small village feel. The homes behind the property where you park and next to the property are in bad condition and very run down, kind of slum like. I would not stay there alone. We do have the home booked again in August for another family get together.

It is a perfect quiet location to explore the area- the falls, Blue Ridge, apple orchards, foliage... We enjoyed the grill and fire pit as well as the kitchen amenities. The dryer was handy for our wet clothes after the waterfall. The weather and setting were ideal for our trip. Perfect.
