Highly would recommend to family and friends. Key Largo is the perfect place to relax and recharge and I truly believe Barefoot Rentals is a big part of that. I loved working with the Barefeet Rentals team so much I will be looking for other properties in different locations that they oversee. I’m so thankful for all their help in making my getaway as easy and smooth as possible.

Suggests: Definitely go snorkeling with Pirates Cove Watersports. They offer more then snorkeling but the crew is so much fun and also informative. We had the best time and a gorgeous sunset on our return! I loved working with the Barefeet Rentals team so much I will be looking for other properties in different locations that they oversee. Six moms in desperate need of some R&R and my only complaint is that we should have stayed longer! Beautiful home! The accommodations and grounds as well as all who were working the properties were awesome! Truly surpassed all expectations and definitely hope to come back again soon! Thank you for everything!

Property was just as described.. clean updated all the essentials needed For cooking. View from the master can’t be beat. Will definitely be staying here again.

It's not always that you are greeted with a warm smile and a genuine hello from the owners when renting a unit in places like this. At Mariners Cove, everyone from the staff, security, to the owners on site at thier townhouses, we were greeted wonderfully. Kudos to them for providing impeccable grounds and a family friendly atmosphere. There are rules for children and being unattended, but tht is what makes it a great place in my opinion.

Can’t wait to do it again. Very easy to deal with. We checked in after hours and it was very easy to get our keys with directions to the condo.

Our stay was perfect for a long weekend! I would probably buy non-stick kitchen items! Over than that this condo had all the amenities you would need! Loved the fact it had a Keurig also!Beautiful weather helped! The atmosphere is so relaxing! We cook breakfast and eat lunch at condo, always eating out in the evening at some of our favorite places! Always look forward to our trip to the Keys in February! When you're from Michigan & Ohio this is a perfect place to interrupt “old man winter” for awhile! The team is very nice, will always rent with barefeet rentals!

This unit filled all of our needs and was very nice...would definitely recommend to others... Great experience, super fast correspondence...

We love to rent again

Condo is updated and very comfortable. Only the bunk beds are a bit dated. Great kitchen and living/TV area.

Good sized condo in a convenient location. Generally nice place, sort of a weird master bathroom with a spa tub sunk into the floor. Kitchen had reasonable assortment of items but like most rentals was missing a few things. Pool is very nice and well maintainted.

Nice pool The email just before arrival freaked me out because it was talking about needing to call to set up after hours key pick up but I thought I had already done everything (which I had). I think it is a standard email but it would be better customer service if it was personalized to each situation.

Mattresses may need updating. The main master had a sink hole in the mattress causing back pain

We vacationed with 4 kids ages 12-6 and three adults. The place was exactly as described and looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and the check out process was easy. The pools were everyone's favorite. The property was well maintained and beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The property is as beautiful as pictured. Mariners Club is amazing

When we first arrived, I was knocked back by the horrendous smell. The room looked nice but only on the surface. The list is quite long in the disappointments we had with the property. The worst was the “beach” access. You cannot and should not risk your life, by swimming anywhere near the beach access. That’s where the smell is coming from it is a huge landfill amount of trash surrounding the beach area. So disgusting. You would never expect to spend almost $3,000 to stay in a paradise location, only to be steps away from a trash dump. Truly shocking and I have the photos to prove it. The pool was beautiful everyone around the location was very nice, but how can you swim and just ignore your sense of smell. I just cannot and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there who has a working nose. From our balcony you could smell it. You can’t enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and wake up to that smell. Truly disappointed.

This stay was more than we could have hoped for! It was a dream vacation to be steps away from the pool and have the spacious and family friendly townhome to enjoy our family reunion. Listening to the relaxing music from our balcony truly made us feel like we were on an island far from home. We will be back!

The pros: we loved having a unit that walked right out to the pool and was a short walking distance to the marina where our boat was, and the pickelball/tennis courts. Everything is a lot closer than it looks on the map. Loved having the option to bring our boat but there was no boat ramp or trailer parking so we had to figure that out separately. The lagoon pool area is so nice but with very strict rules. No coolers, no bluetooth speakers, etc. Security guards round frequently and heavily enforce the rules and they are NOT nice about it. Cons: the check in window is ONE HOUR ONLY. this is ridiculous as key largos is almost a 2 hour drive from any airport. its not close to anything. the property management company does communicate with you but they are SUPER STRICT about who is coming and going and you have to give all that info up front. Last, trying to communicate with the marina to secure our boat slip was a total nightmare. I called and left vm after vm after vm, sent emails and never got a response. I had to call the security guard and ask them to walk over to the marina just to get a phone call returned to reserve a slip. We paid ALOT for this place, and the unit itself (#409) was very clean and nice but it felt like a huge headache just to get everything arranged and follow all the stupid rules. We are adults. We can enjoy ourselves responsibly without needing to be babysat. I realize the rules are there because other people cannot.

We had an amazing stay, the accomodations couldn't have been more perfect for our 2 families. SUGGESTED: Coral Reef State Park. The walking/bike path along Hwy 1. Annie was very helpful and pleasant checking us in.

The property was beautifully maintained and gate staff was always friendly and helpful.. Kitchenware was set up well for a rental unit. We just did not see a cookie sheet so made due with a pan instead! We loved the pool area and enjoyed seeing the iguanas wandering around. John Pennekamp state park was great. We rented a boat for half a day and went snorkeling on the reef not too far out from shore. Favorite restaurant was Buzzard’s Roost. We were able to sit outside by the water and listen to live music while we ate. The Wild Bird sanctuary was a big hit as well. Lots of interesting birds and no entrance fee - just a donation box to help the wildlife there. All communication was timely and accurate. We did a late night check-in and everything was set up and ready for us when we got to the office. We had one minor service issue that was handled quickly and efficiently.
