Everything was perfect, food was incredible, staff was amazing, amenities were great.

Hotel muito bom! Todo o staff foi super atencioso. O pequeno almoço é muito completo. O quarto é super confortável, limpo e espaçoso.

O hotel poderei ter um cheiro mais agradável, um simples ambientador resolvia, porque há zonas que cheira a mofo.

The concept of the hotel is 5* unfortunately the hotel itself doesn't live upto that standard.

Where to start.. Upon check-in we was given a room which the front door was basically in the reception lobby - totally ridiculous. We changed rooms which was fine. Lights barely work, takes about 20x for them to eventually turn on / or off. TV didn't want to switch on (though powered) Toilet was blocked when we got in the room - had to call maintenance. At breakfast we was asked if we wanted tea / coffee, we asked for a latte (pretty basic for any hotel) we was told we had to pay extra for a latte coffee as this isn't inc with breakfast. I asked for juice instead (pineapple or orange) I was told this is also extra as not inc with breakfast. Never in my 13 years of travelling around Asia have I been asked to pay extra for juice, or a coffee with a breakfast in a 5* resort that's in excess of £100 a night, its pretty basic with even rooms at £30 that inc breakfast.. Pool is small for the size of the resort, and only a few beds have side tables. Most are in the water on the edge of the pool which are really pointless, you can't put your belongings anywhere nor a drink ect. The beds are the most uncomfortable we've experienced they should have them matress covers on them like every other hotel with similar beds. They give a welcome drink voucher and make it out to be a drink of your choice at the pool bar (so not your usual drink on arrival) but the reality is its a cucumber water that's the size of a mouthful (why not just give this at check-in then???) Overall the concept of the hotel is great, unfortunately the reality is more of a 3/4* and not 5* we checked out and went to Henann which is cheaper and more of a 5* resort hotel. Expect to pay P200 each way to the main parts of Alona and a good 15 minutes drive. We would not return.

I personally think that the staff is the best asset of this resort— they are very kind and courteous. the location is perfect and the facilities are clean and new/well maintained.

The beach needs more cleaning as washed out seaweeds heavily pile on the shore.

This was our first trip and stay here, and I guarantee it will not be the last. It has now become one of the very best hotel locations in Panglao, and Bohol for us. It was exceptional and truly bust our pre-conceptions wide open. So much so, we extended our stay by one more night, yes it was truly that good. Best-of-the-best. Food was superb, the staff just wonderful, the best beach and sea, excursions to die for, and so on. It's up there ad the best I have ever stayed at anywhere on the planet, let alone Bohol. Amazing!

I find it really hard to gripe, but the only feedback I'd give is more shaded areas at the pool PLEASE, including seating areas. When that sun is high it becomes quite unbearable with no cover. Even the staff in the bar hide in the shade until someone needs serving.
