The cabin is so cute and comfy! We only stayed for one night but had a very good sleep and liked our stay a lot! :)

Location was good, outside of the city but not too far to go in if you want to. Nice and quiet, surrounded by orchards.

I feel the advertising of this property is misrepresented. It is listed as a one bedroom cottage when it is fact only a bed sitter. If it was a one bedroom property it would have a completely separate room for the bedroom not just the bed in the living area. (ref Apartment Guide.com) The list of facilities is also inaccurate in that a washing machine and dryer are listed as items within the cottage itself and this is not the case. Given the semi rural location regular fumigation in addition to external spraying would help to reduce the presence of cockroaches in the cottage which I experienced.

My husband and I had to cancel our booking because of a road closure, shocking weather and an accident my husband had. Owner was wonderful, sympathetic, thoughtful and considerate of our decision.

We wanted a self-contained cottage and this was fitted the bill. It is quite small but well appointed.

Fantastic hidden gem. Very comfortable bed and linen. Perfect for our fleeting visit to watch a concert at the Toitoi opera house- will definitely stay again. My fiance was quite envious of your herb garden.

Really can not find any fault with the place except, we took the oranges to enjoy on the way home - hope you don't mind.

Amazing scenery, well kept property and amenities all close by. Murray and his wife were very friendly, helpful and we loved staying there! They even offered us fruit from their "ugly fruit" tree which my partner absolutely loved!! Would definitely recommend staying with them. Cottage was warm, welcoming and we were impressed with the personal touches, especially the painting on the cottage wall!

Everything you could need for a safe and comfortable stay. The cottage is small but well apointed and wonderfully decorated. Your hosts are friendly and unobstrusive, and the rural setting is a delight.

A few more days and nights in Hawkes Bay - what a great little city is Hastings.

Loved the setting and the cottage was comfortable and warm considering it was terribly wintery...

We were sad that we weren't able to stay another night but that was no one's fault as we were booking last minute and we were grateful to have been able to stay that first night...
