Despite having a State of Emergency Day 1 of vacay for flooding and storm, the week was perfect!!! House was great with plenty of kitchen components - even an air fryer!! Plenty of room for all of us - bedrooms were great - only improvement I would add would be a few drawers to master suite for shorts and intimates. Short walk to beach and short drive to several restaurants and eateries. Dauphin Island we will be back - ACP and Roberts Brothers we will definitely stay with you again... no hassle check in and out and great communication!!

Very much enjoyed the stay! House was very clean and well stocked with extras. Great layout with plenty of space. Close to the beach, but it does sit on a main road, so there is traffic. Appreciated the staff alerting us that we could check-in early! Will definitely rent this house again should we come back to Dauphin Island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we arrived Friday there was a construction crew building a house next door so the noise was a little elevated, but they didn’t work on the weekend & we didn’t hear much after that. The house was in a good location & the walk to the beach wasn’t too bad. Front porch & dining room is where we spent most of our time. We did have to watch out for cracked tile on the floor & there was a few soft spots on the floor in the bathrooms & in front of the washer/dryer. Other than those few things, the house was exactly what we expected!

This is a nice size house for a large family. We had 9 adults and 1 toddler and had plenty of room in the open living/kitchen area to gather together. The kitchen is large and has a nice selection of cookware and utensils. The pantry is the main storage area for plates, cups and some small counter-top appliances. My one complaint is that there wasn't a storage area to place non-perishable foods - canned goods, snacks, etc. We placed everything on the large countertop area, so it looked a little messy :D ... but it's vacation, so messes happen. The beds were a little more firm than we are used to, but I think most of us slept fine. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to local shopping.

The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. It was right in the middle of the island. The east end with the fort was roughly 4 miles away. While the west end beach was only 2 miles away. The beach across from the house had several dunes to walk over, so it might be difficult for small children or people with disabilities, but with that said, the public beach and the West end beach are easy to get to, and are perfect. So if the dunes are a challenge, a beach is still within easy access. I would highly recommend this property. We loved our stay! Thank you APC and VRBO properties!

We had a great time. The location was amazing, the house was perfect, and the listing was just as we’d expected. The breaker got flipped and we didn’t have heat but the rental company was amazing to work with and fixed it quickly! We had a great time!

Enjoyed our stay!! Place is clean and enough space for 7 adults .. we all have our own beds.. Also not too far of a walk to the beach..

This house is in the perfect location for a Fall beach trip. Beach access is right across the street! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were lots of puzzles and games too. I highly recommend this place.

Really good

Excellent property! Everything was in really good condition! The listing photos are very accurate and the rental company is very responsive! The house is a very short walk to the beach. Clean property with just a few cosmetic issues that we could see. The back door had some exposed metal which could be dangerous for a small child. The light switches were a little grimy, but nothing a quick wipe down didn’t fix. :) all in all, it was a great experience and we would rent again.

This propert was the perfect location for doing things on the island and for accessing the beach with six toddlers! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing we wish had been different was the amount of basics stocked in the house. Plan to bring your own spices/sugar and household products (paper towels/dishwashing soap/toilet paper). Given the size of our party (10) and length of our stay, we were running out of products. It is entirely possible that we missed reading what would be provided. The living areas in the house were perfect for our group and the picnic table on the back deck was great for kids to eat at. We would stay here again!

Wonderful

My family was celebrating the retirement of my parents. They had never experienced the beaches in this area. It was perfect. The island is quiet. The house was spacious. The walk to the beach was a walkable distance. Absolutely perfect.

The house was very clean and spacious. I liked the location. It was kid friendly, had board games and even an Xbox! I would definitely rent it again. Loved the layout and the furniture.

This house lived up to our expectations. It was close to the beach (although beach access can be tricky) and you could see the bay and the gulf side from either porch. The house was well spaced out and had plenty of room. It was clean and mostly well stocked. I’d suggest a rug inside the front door so sand isn’t tracked in (there’s one on the porch, but one inside the door would be perfect), maybe a few more skillets and some plastic bowls, plates and cups for kids. There are no beach towels (plenty of regular towels though) , but there was a beach cart to help tote things to the beach. There was plenty of seating (inside and out), books, games, puzzles and magazines to keep you busy. It had an air fryer (which was nice), coffee maker, blender and microwave. There’s even an outdoor shower on the back porch for rinsing off after the beach. We were very satisfied with the house and location. It’s centrally located on the island so you can get to either end of the island in minutes.

We loved the house! The kitchen pantry had far more amenities than we expected. There was plenty of room for our family (3 couples, and 4 kids ages 6-2.5 yrs). The walk to the beach was short and easy to manage with the kids. You do have to cross the island’s main road, but traffic is very light and slow. If we return to Dauphin Island, we would absolutely rent this house again!

We had a wonderful experience here. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. We had plenty of room. The house was furnished with lots of extras especially in the kitchen. The ocean is visible from the house and the beach is a short walk away (across the street). It rained during our stay which flooded parts of the main street and the street to the beach. We were still able to walk on the street to the beach without any issues. We would stay here again!

While I do think the place could’ve been a bit more clean, I must admit that I exceed Adrian Monk in the germophobia department, so do with that what you will. My kids and nieces LOVED this house and wanted to stay forever, and my in-laws and husband were all sad to leave as well. There were plenty of games and toys that others had left behind to keep the young ones entertained. Its proximity to the beach and town are good, and save for the construction going on nearby, we loved how quiet it was during the week. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware and such. The grill outside should probably be replaced, though. My brother in law cooked some burgers on it and repeatedly said, “This is the worst grill in the world.” Haha! Anyway, I’d recommend this house if anyone asked.

We had an absolute lovely time. The property was beautiful and it was a very short walk to the beach. My daughter wanted to stay on the beach for her birthday so she was extremely happy. The only thing that was not pure bliss was the mattresses on the master suit and upstairs bed. They are stiff. But the pillows made up for it
