This is the second summer we have stayed here for a week and it was still amazing! We hope to stay again next year! The property is still immaculate, clean, and well maintained. The hosts are easy to communicate with and super fast to respond. The location is fantastic! We have no complaints! Thank you for another great week of family memories!

Overall great time!

The property was clean and the hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The walk to the beach may be a little far with children, but was not daunting for us adults. The lack of air conditioning made enjoying being in the house difficult as there were also no enough fans provided for all rooms and the house is too far from the beach for any ocean breeze. Also felt as though the rental linen price should have been included in the original pricing, as most rentals have towels and linens included in your stay.

The house is very nice, it’s on a quiet side street with plenty of parking which is very convenient. We enjoyed the covered front porch when the weather wasn’t the best but wish there had been more privacy since there are houses on both sides and there is no other outdoor space. Only complaints are we didn’t like having to deal with the trash, the shower floor in the main bathroom is quite slippery, and since there is no central AC the house did occasionally get overly warm. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and communication with the host was great. Would recommend.

Never used VRBO before. Didn't like having to either bring or rent all bedding and towels. Additional cost and longer to beach than stated. Considering cost additional housekeeping duties also such as trash , dishes, washing bath rugs.

The house was lovely, and conveniently located near the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only complaint I have is the fact that we had to rent linens for this rental which not only cost us an additional $225, but after a long day of travel, it was a lot of work to have to make all the beds putting on pillow cases and sheets before we could go to sleep. I understand this was put in practice due to COVID…. But that time has past. I recommend the owners go back to providing the linens and have the housekeeper make the beds. Other than that this vacation rental was awesome!

The cottage is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with easy access to both beach and highway. We planned to do a lot of driving and sightseeing so being directly on the beach or having ocean views wasn’t necessary. This was the perfect accommodations for our family.

We just loved staying here . Very close to beach. Everything we needed was available in this house . Decorated so pretty. Great layout for hanging with family , playing games and cooking . Everyone loved the outdoor shower. The only negative for us was having to bring our own sheets and towels but owners gave us amble notice on that so we were aware. Over all 5 stars and would highly recommend.

My weekend family reunion with my brother and wife at Salty Poynt was delightful. The place was immaculate and well situated. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The location was great and close to town, the beach and everything we needed. Liz was very accessible and helpful. There were lots of nice features such as a fireplace which was great with the cooler weather we had this weekend. I would definitely stay here again.

Liz and Dustin’s place was perfect for our family. We stayed to celebrate our son’s graduation weekend. The cottage was comfortable, cozy, and spotless. Beautifully appointed and perfectly spacious for our family of 4 including my senior mom. The inviting and comfortable living room made for cozy evenings in late November. The location was ideal with only a short drive to Portsmouth, NH where we spent time visiting downtown, filled with quaint shops and local restaurants with waterfront views. We also enjoyed exploring the charming town of York -bundling up and walking along Long Sands Beach and admiring Nubble Lighthouse with stunning panoramic ocean views. Liz and Dustin were excellent hosts and super with communication. Truly a wonderful weekend!

Salty Point was the perfect place to stay for my weekend with friends. The location was fantastic and the cottage was very clean and spacious. The hosts made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect central location for local activities, restaurants , beaches and exploring the Southern Maine coast. Cottage was bright, sunny, clean, and nicely decorated with comfortable bedding and furniture. Gas fireplace made it cozy. Kitchen well furnished. Would stay again.

We were in town for a family wedding. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Had everything we needed. It was nice that it was not right in town so we didn't have to deal with beach traffic. Great location to explore York, Kittery, Eliot and Portsmouth from.

We had a great time at this property! The kids games and toys were an added bonus for our three year old! The walk to the beach with all of our stuff was easy with a wagon. We’ve been coming to York for a few years now and this property was clean, well maintained, and elegantly decorated. Thank you!

I'm about to write an amazing review... with the fear that it will make it harder to rent again once others find this gem! Our hosts were amazing, easy to communicate with and had clearly put a lot of thought into the house and it's amenities. The house was immaculate! Everything was clean and beautiful. The dishes, pots, pans, etc. made nights that we ate in easy. The outdoor shower made it easy to not track sand inside. The beds were extremely comfortable! The beach was an easy five minute walk. I do recommend you bring a beach cart and or wagon with you for your stay to transport your beach gear, it made the walk much easier. I cannot think of a single complaint I have as the stay was perfect! The only thing that made me nervous was the white couch, so I covered it in extra sheets and then I didn't have to worry about my teens not paying attention to the fact that it was white. Thank you for an amazing stay, we have already booked again for next summer! Our family had an amazing week there and we thank you!!!

Liz and Dustin were great hosts. The house was the perfect size for the 7 of us. Brand new home with great accommodations. We got a great use of the fire place for that cold weekend.
