Was hard to find the property entrance at night.

This place met our needs and we were happy with it but there is definitely room for improvement. It is a clean, safe, quiet and comfortable complex. The units are quite spacious and there’s plenty of room to stretch out. The air conditioning worked perfectly. There were even howler monkeys in the trees you can see from the pool area.

This was more like an Airbnb… Don’t expect any hospitality, you’re on your own. There are a few areas that could be improved that would increase my rating. 1. Signage. There is absolutely no sign that says Beachwalk anywhere. The location is pretty remote and it was very difficult to find. It was on the end of an unmarked dirt road which is off of another unmarked dirt road which is off of another dirt road. No signage anywhere along the way (of note Costa Rica does not have street addresses and barely any street names) Even when we pulled up to the 8 foot solid steel gate there was still no signage. We had to find a local to call the lady inside to let us in since my cell phone reception was pretty poor. 2. The amenities listed need to be updated since they are not accurate. A washer and dryer was listed but you do not have access to the washer and dryer it’s only for housekeeping. I was very excited about doing a load of laundry. No toiletries or hot tub either. 3. Don’t expect to be able to cook a full meal in the kitchen. In our unit (#4) Only one burner was working and at that there was barely any cookware. One small sauce pan and one skillet. And no condiments anywhere… No sugar, coffee, salt pepper nothing. There is a rice cooker and blender though! The kitchen is functionally laid out well and has a very large refrigerator/freezer. There was also no specific microwavable dishware. 4. There is not direct beach access from the complex. The listing states “beachfront”. We pretty much drove down the street to Ola’s, parked there and walked along the bridge. You could walk to Ola’s… it’s probably 1/2 mile. 5. There was only one pool/beach towel and the other towels were by far the roughest towels I’ve ever experienced. Great for exfoliation! Come prepared.

Very comfortable facilities. Perfect for friends and families.

You have to walk for a while to get to the beach. Better to drive.
