This property and the hosts were wonderful. The space is amazing with comfortable furniture, open space to bring everyone together, and enough separate spaces that everyone could have some privacy when they needed it. The hosts generously brought in a desk so my husband could work remotely from the downstairs bedroom and my son was able to go to school remotely from the dining area. This location is closer to the bay which was wonderful for evening walks a fun shopping. Nevertheless, everything on the island is easy to get to and we took advantage of it all. You will love it.

This home was everything we expected and more. This was our first VRBO rental and I was a little unsure about what to expect. There were 5 of us total...my wife and I and three girls (high school and college aged). We didn't really want to have to rent two hotel rooms for all of us so we looked into VRBO...and we were glad we did. The pictures of this home on VRBO really made it stand out and the home didn't disappoint. As soon as you open the front door you walk into the open courtyard area...a great spot where we ended up spending a lot of time. The entire house was remodeled a couple of years ago and it felt really fresh inside and out. It was very clean and didn't have any maintenance issues. The kitchen was great and had a nice chef's range. There is a propane grill in the backyard so we grilled out a couple of nights and had breakfast as a family together most mornings. You can tell from the pictures that the floor plan is very open which made it real easy for our family to hang out together. This made it feel much more like a 'family' vacation instead of being stuck in hotel rooms. This was our first vacation where we stayed in a neighborhood and 'lived with the locals' for a week. What a great place Coronado would be to live! The grocery store is just a few blocks away and the beach is about a 15 minute walk. The kids rode the bikes to the beach a couple of times and we also drove there a couple of times...parking was never an issue. Lots of restaurants are just a few blocks away. Sometimes we would walk to the restaurants and other times we'd drive. When we booked this property we looked at a lot of options in San Diego and Orange Counties. We chose this one because we liked Coronado and the house just looked like the best fit for us. All 5 of us loved the house and we're very glad we chose this one. The owners were great to work with and the home was perfect. We will definitely stay here again when we're back in Southern California.

Fabulous Coronado Getaway! There are many amazing touches to this home that made us feel so welcomed and lucky for our stay. From the beautiful and super functional inner courtyard with relaxing furniture and fireplace, an abundance of cozy pillows and bedding, charming fire pit on the upper deck to enjoy the stars and the San Diego skyline, wide variety of beach cruisers to explore the town or ride to the beach, even a boogie board and beach toys for the kids to enjoy! Close to the ferry and/or bridge to San Diego, close to the park as well as the beautiful library, and an easy walk/bike/drive to the best beach. The home owners are wonderful & easy to be in touch with. It was perfect for our crew. We definitely hope to stay again whenever we're in town.

We, group of six, stayed in this rental for a week for a conference. Overall experience are so wonderful that I would like to rate a Six-Star if there is one. Even I've seen photos posted online, I still was surprised by this newly-renovated dream vacation house: extremely clean, and perfect floor plan for any kind of get-together. You have couple small secured areas for cozy needs, and one big open courtyard for announcement. I am not going to add cliques but there are some other details you might be interested: 1) Kitchen are well equipped, gas cooking, with an extra wine refrig. BBQ in the back yard. 2) Outdoor fireplace and fountain is a party plus. 3) Spacious and open. There is an extra mattress if you need it. 4) Laundry room make you feel you want to do the laundry. 5) There is a well-equipped medicine cabinet for emergency need. What I am trying to say is: Living in this well-designed, well-maintained vacation home, you feel your landlord really care about you in every aspects. What else do you need then? Will I go back this rental again in the future? Of course I will. Will I recommend this rental to you, my friend? Absolutely not, because I don't want you to take my spot.
