My friend and I wanted to stay in the neighborhoods to have a quieter vacation versus the more populated areas. This house is very cute and in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked and well decorated. The tv and fireplace were very nice touches! The bathroom is a little small as other reviewers have pointed out but all is clean and great for my friend and I to hang out in. The space is in the basement of the house and as such you can hear the owner in the space above. There are posted quiet hours from 11pm-8am for all parties to make it a more harmonious space. This time was respected by everyone. However while I was there it seemed that there was renovations going on. Hours and hours of grinding, hammering, and vacuuming in the floor above (up until quiet hours). It would have been nice to know about this beforehand or that these days were blocked out from being booked.

We had a quick stay at the place and it was incredible! Spacious for our group of 4 and was close enough to downtown for us to have a good night out. Highly recommend!

We loved this spot, it was a convenient distance to the sights we wanted to visit and we enjoyed the food recommendations.

This is a lovely, clean and really nice sized unit. With 2 large bedrooms a well stocked and appointed kitchen and a beautiful great room with a fireplace and smart tv, this unit ticks all the boxes. Will love to stay again as the area is really handy as well!

This property was very nice and as advertised. There were lovely touches to make it welcoming. The bathroom is quite small and would be hard for a larger person. The back steps are a bit more than thought and recommend they add a picture so people know. Parking was plentiful and the neighborhood was lovely.

Well supplied nicely decorated suite. Steven was great host, excellent check in instructions and communication. Walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store, but on a quiet street. I would definitely stay again and it was spacious enough that I could bring the other 3 members of my family.

Great host, the unit is equipped with everything you need for a self sustained (cooking for yourself) or eating out all meals. Comfortable beds, great neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if our budget was the same. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is very small. Not a big deal except if two are trying to get ready to go out at the same time.

We had a great stay. Clean, comfortable and easy for a young family of 5. Bathroom space was a bit tight for us, but very workable!

We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver. The appartement was wel appointed, clean and there was enough space for a family of four. Clear communication about arrival and departure and easy on street parking. The bathroom is a bit small, but worked fine for us. Plenty of options for public transport nearby and a supermarket within walking distance.

This was a really comfortable place for our family to stay during our first trip to Vancouver. In a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to some restaurants and shops, and easy street parking, cute house with pretty landscaping. Nice shower, laundry, and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only downside was that we could hear the home residents walking around upstairs, and the first night we were there, there were up and active at 4:30am and we could hear their footsteps, tv, and voices. That was the only night we had that issue, though. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful basement restoration of 100 year old craftsman house in neighborhood within walking distance to many ethnic restaurants. Property immaculately restored. Electric fireplace and sound system plus washer and dryer a big plus.

Very nice, good space.

Our stay started with a few issues which Steven very quickly addressed. The accommodations were very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The steps at the entrance can be difficult for elderly persons. Steven did say he will be relocating the entrance in the future.

Clean, cute, plenty of amenities. Cons: beds are cheap - the slats came out of place. However, The host was very accommodating of letting us keep our luggage in their laundry room after check out.

Glad we had this spacious and cozy property to stay at. It served all our needs.

Check in was very smooth and our host was quick to respond and very accommodating to allow us to leave some luggage before check in. The space is lovely, modern, and very clean. The ceiling height was more than enough for me (6’3”) which was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the quiet neighbourhood made for great sleeps. There is a grocery store nearby and multiple bus lines that made getting around very smooth. This is the nicest space I’ve stayed in and was just what we needed for our trip!

We had a marvelous 5 day stay in this newly renovated, spacious basement apartment. It's location was conveniently located a short Uber ride to all Vancouver areas of interest. I strongly recommend this property and I'm not surprised to see it solidly booked through the summer.

Spacious and well-appointed apartment. Small bathroom but nice. Big towels! Did not feel like a basement. Quiet neighbourhood but close to busy, active main streets. Restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as bus routes.
