Very comfy place which offers a great view of the whole caldeira ! It is higher located than Panama City and benefits from fresh air which is great. Bryan was the best, always there to help in any way and provide suggestions regarding activities/visits. Also it is within walkable distance from the supermarket and you can use the kitchen.

That we stayed only one day

The view over the city was amazing. Waking up to the sound of the jungle, with fresh coffee and a beautiful mist over the vulcano ridge is just worth the walk up hill to get there. The breakfast is super good! More than enough for hiking! And the host was super lovely. Everything we needed, we could just ask, they we always around and attentive!

The walk to the house is a little steep and dark. So bring a light (phone is sufficient). You can take a 2or3 dollar taxi back to the house which is no problem at all. Waking is about 15-20 minutes but felt really safe and is a beautiful morning walk.

Stayed at this place just one night because unfortunately I could not stay any longer and had to head back to the city. After I booked I was immediately contacted via WhatsApp by someone who sent me the exact location and kindly answered all my questions. I got there and was greeted by a bearded dude who was quite friendly and offered to help unload and be available for local knowledge, where needed. He also kindly offered to refrigerate any items that needed it. Little did he know I had come prepared with a little beer filled cooler. The room? Nothing fancy, but very comfy and clean. Definitely worth the price. The grounds of the property could improve and by that I strictly mean that some of these El Valle properties spoil you with beautiful and abundant flowers and plants. The location and view is top notch if you don't mind not being within walking distance of town. Mosquitoes and bugs were not a problem. Two friendly random dogs showed up from time to time. Breakfast was good. Once again, nothing fancy but tasty with coffee of the good kind. I honestly would stay again.

No complaints whatsoever. Could add another hammock to prevent coin flipping with companion.

the view is beautiful! the room is small but there is a patio you can sit at with couches and hammocks which was nice. there is also a little pool there filled with fresh water! the hosts were super friendly and I appreciated their hospitality.

because the room is small, it can feel a bit cramped with bigger suitcases. there is a closet to put smaller things away, though.

the location is stunning! You pay for the view. it is not an hotel, but more a guesthouse. Rooms are big but not that great.

hygiëne wasn’t that good. Also it is a little pricy for what you get.

Incredible views and lovely, welcoming, friendly hosts

The hosts are super kind, the location is great up on the hill with an amazing view and very quiet. Wake up to nothing but the sound of the birds singing and a fresh breeze. Their breakfast is also freshly made with love. We enjoyed our stay at Ziruma a lot and recommend it to anyone!

Amazing view and beautiful area. It was so nice to wake up with this view, take a breath of super fresh air. The hosts were very engaged, kind and helpful. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Even though we had to walk long to reach the place (we didn't have a car) it was definitely worth it.

I missed hot water in the shower. Breakfast could be also more reach. The owner asked what we want for a breakfast, but I always feel a bit embarrassed when I have to bring such "list". So I gave just some suggestions coz I didn't want to be greedy. Apparently we got what we wanted, but it was very little, especially before the whole hiking day :)

Best view in town! Kind, compassionate helpful family. Went above and beyond to ensure the guests have a good stay. Cute little room on the side of a mountain. Has a very lovely little pool and patio area above the room....a common area with the family. If you don't have a car, they will bring you to/from town....just a short walk down but a tough one back up. Don't be scared by the drive up. It is steep but there is easy parking. Better to arrive in daylight.

The space was much smaller than I expected....but very cosy once I settled in. For whatever reason could not get hot water to work. The host was very responsive to help...I just gave up because I was tired. I would still recommend😊

The view was stunning, Bryan was very helpful and accomodating!

Communication was prompt from the moment we booked until the end of our stay. Brian was very helpful in getting us small food supplies (as it's a small drive to town from where the room is located). Recommend waking up early to see the valley come to life with bird life. Great view in general. The road to the room is a little steep, but if you aren't confident driving up it, let Brian know he'll drive your car up for you.
