We were newbies vacationing in the area. Prior to our visit the hosts readily answered questions we had. The property is clean, updated, and incorporated many thoughtful details. Sand toys, beach chairs, & towels, a cooler, & umbrella are all provided with the rental, which made our packing much easier! Location is excellent- a quiet residential neighborhood with every amenity you could possibly need within short driving distance. And so many fabulous beaches to choose from, all within a reasonable drive (and with adequate parking and restrooms!). The hosts were attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We will most certainly book again!

Super clean house!! We loved our stay at this house. It was about a 15 min drive to shark tooth beach and less than 5 min to town. No issues with the house just wish it had a pool. Overall great place to stay.

The home was everything that was advertised. Very clean and tidy! There is everything needed for a family of four including beach toys, umbrella, bbq and sand sifters when looking for shark teeth. Close to beaches and stores as well.

Loved this house. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The location is great just a short drive to the beaches. The owners also supplied nice beach chairs, towels, and everything you need to sift for shark teeth. Will definitely try to book again on our next stay in Venice.

We are four friends coming to Venice for a music festival. Location was great and the house had a great setup for us. There was a quick response to a low battery issue with the door lock and quick fix. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was very cute and clean. The hosts provided everything needed for a comfortable stay with some fun additions like cruiser bikes. Our requests and questions were met with an immediate response. The South Venice neighborhood is not as upscale as some of the other neighborhoods in Venice, but it is conveniently located for the island of Venice and Englewood tourist attractions. We had some initial issues with the neighbors broken fence as it was not as pictured on VRBO, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and ended up installing a brand new fence in the back yard within the first 48 hours of our stay!

My mother and I went to South Venice to help a family member move. It was a short and busy trip but this lovely, well equipped home was perfect for our stay. The home was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and replied quickly when I had a question. I would definitely recommend this home.

The house was comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed and the neighborhood was quiet. Had an issue with the door lock but we were quickly assisted by the management, so it really wasn't a problem.

This newly updated 3 bedroom 2 bath home was the perfect location to enjoy the Venice sunsets and beaches! Tastefully decorated with newer appliances, the owners made sure that bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas and shark tooth finder were provided for fun activities. The screened in lanai was ideal for relaxing, and the new grill with outdoor dining table was a plus. The owners were very caring and responsive, and it was gracious of them to share their wonderful home. We are looking forward to staying here again.

The property was a nice, clean home in a quiet residential neighborhood that was close to everything. I was there alone but the home easily could have accommodated 6 people. The inside was completely updated and tastefully furnished and decorated! I enjoyed sitting in the lanai or on the patio viewing the night sky. Having access to the 2-car garage was a nice bonus as were the bicycles and beach chairs that were provided. The hosts were very responsive and helpful! I would definitely book another stay!

Dec 19-20 we lost water service in the house due to water pump issue. Owner asked us to turn off the pump with their guidance via phone, no water for one night. Owner partially refund the nightly charge when asked. Upon check-out on Dec 21, there was a wind storm in South Venice, FL in the morning. We heard a loud noise and saw the patio umbrella fell on the ground and hubby moved it inside patio so it wont get blown further out by the wind. Check out time 10am, emailed owner from car that the umbrella patio fell off from the wind storm but did not have the chance to take pictures because we were in the middle of checking out. A week later, owner claimed we did not report the damage and charging $327 for the umbrella and also adding alleged broken table (owner never discussed). We provided them with proof of local weather condition that day. We are disputing the charge with owner and VRBO. VRBO suggested to write a review. Be aware of weather, be careful with this owner, document everything!

This home was clean, the host was quick to reply to questions/concerns. Super close to several beaches and ferry was included to the private beach. Amazing stay! Only suggestions I have is to add washcloths, improve wifi, and perhaps have a garage door opener. Love that beach items were available for use! I believe the host really considered everything! I will definitely look to book again next time!

Overall a VERY affordable and quaint house, exactly what we were looking for. Clearly an updated home, with excellent bathrooms and bedrooms. Beds were comfortable and the linens pillows good. Kitchen had almost everything needed (needs a can opener otherwise had necessary cooking utensils). Appliances are all new, Fridge is huge. Propane grill was used twice and was easy to clean. Washer and dryer are simple but worked well for a couple loads to keep up with our dirty laundry. AC blew cold and did a great job keeping the whole house cooled at same temperature. Garage and beach amenities were awesome! The chairs were welcomed and the bikes a great escape to see the neighborhood on an off day from soccer games. The access to a ferry was great, kids used it one day and enjoyed the captain and need treat to ride it to the beach. Would have utilized it more but weather and soccer games kept us away. House is settled in a nice neighborhood, there is construction in next lot for a new home, but they didnt work on the home while we were there. House is located near a WalMart and normal eateries etc. We were able to get in and out of the neighborhood with ease.

The property was well maintained. It was a good location for work. The hosts did a great job of communicating expectations.

This home was very clean and comfortable. The property was very close to many beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and just about anything else that you need on vacation. We would definitely recommend renting this wonderful Venice home for your family.
