We've just returned from the best family holiday we've had, the apartment is spacious, well equipped and very clean. The views from the balcony and roof terrace are amazing. We saw whales in the bay every day of our trip. The rooftop terrace is fabulous, with full BBQ and kitchen set up, and so much space for everyone to relax. The rooms are a good size, and comfortable. Location is great, a short walk into Caloundra, and very close to the Caloundra Music Festival. The private parking garage was big enough for our Rav4, but larger cars may not fit. The stairs can be a bit of a challenge, especially for older guests, or those with difficulty walking, but we found it ok. Berny was a really great host, easy to contact with any queries, and so helpful and friendly, even offering us a late checkout. We've already booked again for our next holiday.

The property was just as we had hoped. Amazing views from the lovely private rooftop area. I left my headphones when we checked out and Berniwe went above and beyond to get them back to me. I was very grateful. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lovely quiet area. We will come again. :)

The view of the ocean from the property is amazing especially from the rooftop. Peaceful quiet building. The property is very clean and so well equipped with everything necessary to stay away from home. The host is very easy going and very responsive with communications. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Caloundra next time.

We are regulars at the property and love staying every year! Bernie is a wonderful host and looks after us so well. Can’t wait until our next trip!

We walked into the unit and just went “wow”. So lovely and bright and clean and the whole presentation was superb. Everything you could possibly want or need for your stay at your fingertips. The fun little dish of welcoming chocolates was a lovely touch. And the view was stunning. The upstairs deck is just awe inspiring. The view is amazing and the set up of the deck is the stuff dreams are made of. You just never want to leave. Berny is a wonderful host and so easy to deal with. Looking forward to coming back one day!

This was such a great place. The rooftop terrace was amazing. We sat up there every afternoon and watched the whales. The unit had everything we needed as did the roof top terrace. Would definitely stay here again

Superb unit and location! The rooftop entertaining area upstairs was simply perfect for giving our children extra room and to view the whales. Berny was fantastic and more than accommodating

The unit is located close to the beach & some awesome walks. But if you just want to chill & do nothing then the rooftop is the perfect place to do it. You have comfortable seating, a wonderful view, plus a great BBQ setup. Berny is lovely to deal with. We loved our stay. There were only two drawbacks the stairs, but if you pack light it shouldn’t be a problem & the driveway - if you have a small SUV it won’t be a issue, if you don’t you will scrape your bumpers going in & out. We just parked on the street.

My two adult children and myself loved the apartment! It has an awesome roof top lounge/bbq area - unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t use it! But in the summer, wow it would be so good! Unlike some other properties, it has a wonderful heater! Lol!

This apartment is lovely and is really clean. Be prepared to lug your suitcases up 49 steps. It was very difficult. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good at all where stayed so didn’t get to use the outdoor room which would have been fantastic in good weather. It is up another level so not part of the actual apartment, which we didn’t realise. The manager was great to deal with. The garage was really tight and requires a skilled driver to get in and out with a larger car. TVs were great to have in bedroom’s which is often overlooked at many properties. Loved watching the ships go through the shipping lane.

Would not recommend for older people or unwell. The stairs can be a challenge. Also recommend simple oven and microwave.

We loved staying at Bernie's unit. Good sized rooms, great kitchen. The upstairs area was wonderful with such beautiful views. Bernie went above and beyond to make our stay great. Even though it poured the whole time. Bernie saved us during the floods as we couldn't get home to Ipswich , the roads where cut off. So Bernie gave us a sizable discount on our extra night stay. She rang to check up on us to see if we were ok. Couldn't of asked for a lovelier host. Thanks Bernie ❤️

Great place to stay. Very well appointed, light and airy apartment. Beds very comfortable. Everything is good quality. The private rooftop is amazing, huge barbecue, fridges and freezer, comfy seating and a nice view of the water. The only thing is you need to be good at stairs, 3 flights up, but it is worth it. The building is an older one but you don’t feel that in the apartment. The host very helpful.

The upstairs area really opens the unit up and has another fully set up kitchen. It is a lovely space. The unit is clean and well laid out. Overall fabulous place to stay. Close to the beach, three blocks from town. Great spot to leave the car at home and walk everywhere.

We had a great time at this property everything was so clean. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she went above and beyond to answer all our needs. We had Christmas lunch on the rooftop with family and had such a great time. I would highly recommend this property to anybody. The added advantage of the holiday would be that you will not put on any weight as walking up the stairs will keep it off. But the climb to the top is well worth it..

Berny is just delightful and a wonderful host. Unit was sparkling clean and well appointed with toasted sandwich press, electric fry pan, pots and pans etc. Rooftop area is a hit and all plates and glasses up there mean you don’t have to walk up and down whilst preparing a meal. Throughly enjoyed and will stay again.

Pros - private rooftop, clean, modern, very close to beach, lots of space, smart tv in every room, aircon, washing machine and dryer Cons - no microwave, no freezer downstairs, furniture is all glass and very delicate, street parking, lots of stairs

Great for a family getaway. The private rooftop terrace was amazing!! The only downside was the stairs with the luggage and kids, but wouldn’t stop us staying there again, helps work off the fish and chips at the beach 😃

I stayed at Bernie’s place with family for the long weekend in October and it could not have been more perfect. The rooftop is spectacular and makes you not want to leave the building. The apartment could easily accommodate three couples or a large family with plenty of space for entertaining. Bernie was a dream to deal with and the apartment is close to everything at Kings Beach. If you are wondering whether or not to book it just go for it, you won’t regret it!

Great 3 bedroom setup. 3 x queen beds with tv in each room. Kitchen has everything you basically need (except a freezer) & although lounge is small, the additional upstairs area (with tv) is huge with everything you could need for dining & hanging out. Heaps of fridge and freezer space, along with great bbq outdoor kitchen. Both downstairs and upstairs kitchens have ample cooking utensils, cutlery dishware etc. Great water views….we saw whales in the distance every afternoon (late September). The building exterior is very dated but overlook this and if you can handle the daily stair climb (6 short flights of stairs) the room has been nicely renovated and as mentioned the rooftop area is awesome. The location is quite central, almost everywhere is walkable or a very short drive. Highly recommend for families.

The owner was friendly and easy to deal with. This was our first stayz experience which was faultless. The accommodation was immaculate, position and views perfect. Unit was clean and had everything...just walk in and enjoy your holiday. Kitchen was particularly well appointed including upstairs at the amazing rooftop bbq area. Made our holiday a relaxing breeze. Many thanks to our host.

I organised a getaway for my birthday and loved my stay so much we extended another day. The apartment was amazing and views stunning. Three good sized bedrooms. So very very clean. Then you go upstairs to the undercover outdoor area. Oh my gosh!! This was totally brilliant. So spacious and once again very clean. AND it was all OURS and nobody else's. The outdoor setting was really comfortable to sit in and you had everything you needed while relaxing with family and a few friends while having a drink and enjoying the amazing view. Our host was amazing and easy to contact. Nothing was a problem. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

The apartment and its facilities are absolutely amazing! It is extremely clean and has everything you could ask for and more. The host Berny has been nothing but accommodating and helpful, we can not wait to return. We loved every minute of our stay!
