Quite reasonable and nicely presented

No variety from day to day in the breakfast

The property was located very centrally and easy to get to by taxi from the train station. The decor in the room was lovely and very well put together. I loved that our host had clean bathrobes and slippers available for us as well, really making it feel like a luxury hotel experience. The facilities were very clean and our host was very kind and helpful when assisting us with any of our needs.

The only thing I would recommend to our host is to have the backyard patio furniture cleaned as it was a beautiful day when we arrived and it would have been nice to sit on the outside furniture although it wasn't very clean.

The bedroom was ready early before check in. Me and friend stayed for an event and the owner had printed out various ways to get to the venue which was so kind. The breakfast platter was amazing, all types of cereals, meat and cheese platter, toast with various choice of spreads, fruit salad, juices, fresh tea and coffee. Can no fault the property at all.

Wendy was an amazing host. The beds were super comfortable and she did everything she could to make our stay the best. Loved the room, the house, the shower, the breakfast and the dog and tortoises!

Same as the name, Home from Home. Wendy very welcoming from first meeting, happy to help, even put us some Guiness in the room cooler, short of nothing. Excellent breakfast, lovely guest's staying over also, would highly recommend, would stay again if working in the area, excellent place to stay...😊👍

The little added extras, the slippers, dressing gowns, bottled water, snacks, the bottle of wine, the host was so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Very relaxed environment and would definitely recommend.

Location would be better with a car although buses run constantly which is good, maybe price for one person could be cheaper even in a double.

The cleanliness, the geographical situation of the house not that far from Margate center and the dynamisme of the owner of the house.

I didn't realise the room would be in a private house so felt a bit surprised and shy to share the premises with a family who was also staying at the place.It feels also uncomfortable to come back late in this situation as it is annoying to disturb people but at the same time changing your plans for the weekend is not nice either.

Host very friendly , caring and helpful. Gave lots of information and recommend places to go. Plus excellent hopper bus service 2minutes away.. lovely garden to chill out in. Very good breakfast.

Clean, cosy and felt very at home. A great place to stay with a dog. A wonderful continental breakfast. Wendy went above and beyond to provide for my dietary requirements as well as treats for the dog! I highly recommend .

I liked the fact it was better than most hotels in all, all hotels that are under 150 a night definitely.

Wendy was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The property was lovely, bed comfortable, great garden. Mr Marley (doggy) was very kind to let our dog share his space. The extras in the room (complimentary water, biscuits, crisps, tea and coffee) were well received. Morning was too much trouble, we had oat milk for our coffee and the vegan (at our request) breakfast choice was the best I have had..... Hams, cheese, soya yoghurt, Croissants, spreads..... The list goes on and on. Better than a hotel. There were plenty of parks and beaches for walks nearby, and was only a few minutes by car into Margate Town.

There was nothing I did not like. All our needs were met.

The added extras Wendy provided, which made our stay one to remember!

Wendy was a superb host, on hand to answer our queries and help out without being intrusive. The breakfast was a wide range and something for everyone. The location of the house is great to access the beach and see Margate.
