Everything you could wish for. Good place to start wallks from too, right from the door. The only snag was the very steep drive with a bend. But that seems normal for Ventnor!

This property was in a great location. The owner was welcoming and the accommodation was clean and tidy and the outlook lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay - our only comment would be that the flat we stayed in was a little weary and lacking personality. I imagine it has been well used and is just in need of a little tlc.

We just spent two, glorious weeks at Woodcliffe and enjoyed every minute. The property and surrounding areas are simply stunning, with so many beautiful walks available. The hosts are so friendly and helpful and are on site, if you need any pointers. Just can’t wait to return in the spring :)

Well equipped apartment. Very understanding hosts - we arrived early due to snow and were given a warm welcome. Lovely walks on the coast easily accessible from here. Really enjoyed visit to Osbourne House and Bembridge worth a visit too.

I had a very relaxing time spending it on the island this Christmas. Although it could sleep 2 poss 3 l found it ideal for 1.lt was well equipped with every thing you needed. The owner was very welcoming and answered any questions that l had. Would l stay again a definite yes.

Quaint little cottage idea for couples. Everything there you would need for a quiet holiday.

We had to cancel as our dog had an operation.

We stayed in the lovely flat for three nights. The flat has great sea view, a balcony and a large garden. We have everything we need in the flat, it's just the right size for three of us. It's quiet, peaceful. There is a laundry room as well. Can't ask for a better place. Thank you!

The owner generously upgraded us to a larger property for free, so we got a real bargain. Everything was comfortable, well-equiped and clean. Nice that all visitors have access to the garden. The owners, who live in the main house on site, seemed keen to hear about and put right any problems that might arise (there weren't any). The nearest convenience store is a 500 m walk away and Ventnor is a short drive away. Good walks possible from the house. All very quiet at this time of year (October).

We rented the Cottage for the last week of August. The whole experience was a delight, the hosts were welcoming and very heloful, the garden is lush and great for our daughter who enjoyed playing there. A lot of facilities available for a very good value. The cottage was very clean, lovely and very quiet. The location is perfect as close to Ventnor and beach, shops... We would love to return next time we visit the Island.

My partner and I booked Woodcliffe Cottage for a last minute break, not really knowing much about the Isle of Wight. As a couple seeking a quiet break offering easy access to great walks and vistas, this turned out to be a perfect place to stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and quietly located. The veranda was not such a "private sun-trap" as hoped, but this was not a concern as having access to the main garden (and the view it affords) was just lovely! (NB: south-facing benefit, so during our June stay we could enjoy the outdoor sunshine until evening.) We received a friendly welcome from the owner (Bryce) who also gave us some great tips on walks and nearby eateries. In summary: We enjoyed our stay and would happily return! Note: The cottage itself does not offer sea views (for these you need to stay in one of the apartments, or take a wander into the garden from time to time!)
