The pictures online (which are great) do not do this place justice. The view is breathtaking from almost every room in the house. The back deck/porch is such a nice place to spend time and the whole house is full of thoughtful and practical touches that make the stay even more enjoyable. The bed sheets and especially the linens were very high quality and that speaks volumes for the folks that own this little piece of heaven. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is to oil the hinges on most of the doors as they squeaked and groaned often. The back door onto the deck/porch tried to stick at the bottom corner and often required a light shove from my foot to open it. However, this did not detract AT ALL from how fantastic this property and its location are. My family and me are already planning a trip back at some point next year and we plan to stay at this wonderful place every chance we get.

Very comfortable, quiet, roomy and on the mountain with a beautiful view. Plenty of room to park two trucks and trailers and motorcycles. Provided many extras in the kitchen which was also fortified with pots, dishes et cetera. Owners quickly responsive when called. Loved it.

We were so pleased with our stay at Rattler Ridge. This was our first time staying at a vacation home and are so glad we did. The hosts go up and beyond with amenities and made our stay so comfortable, we felt like we were at home. The location to boat ramps was perfect. The views were spectacular. Look forward to visiting Guntersville again and would choose this rental again.

We were looking for a place to relax & fish. This was a great fit. The property was as described, owners were great to work with and just a short drive for lake access. The view was amazing. We would definitely stay there again!

This was our favorite rental in Guntersville. The owner goes above and beyond to make the stay special. The views are spectacular! We came to fish, but spent as much time relaxing and unwinding in the rental! We will be back!

We loved everything about this place! It's private yet still close to town and the water. Waking up to the beautiful view every morning was great! Lance and Renee were very gracious. They even left us some goodies from a local bakery for our anniversary! There were fresh eggs on the counter. Fully stocked coffee and tea bar. Anything we could have needed was provided for us. We will definitely be back. Oh and the fishing was great, too!

Great place overall. Circle driveway is a little to tight for boat trailers with trees lined down the edges. So be careful.

The house was just as pictured. Very clean and one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. Beds were very comfortable too. Nice yard for kids to play in as well. Views were nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property with fantastic views of the lake, well stocked coffee bar with snacks, very comfortable beds and firewood available if you wanted to use the fire pit, which we did. Very private with lots of parking. Great stay!

Loved our time at this beautiful home. The setting was magnificent and our hosts were so thoughtful with “extras” throughout. Loved the coffee/tea bar, cozy throws, fluffy towels and tasty snacks. The home was clean and very tastefully decorated. Plan to return to this beautiful home!!

Home is beautiful, comfortable and with so many wonderful touches. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the weather and beautiful sunrises. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It was such a treat to walk into snacks and a fully stocked coffee bar. We will return!

Quiet, clean property with great view. Small touches made more enjoyable such as coffee bar and snacks. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, gas grill, good Wi-Fi and plenty of room for a boat and trailer. Doesn’t want you to cook fish inside of house( but not problem for me, could use grill) I would return.

The host was very friendly and answered all of my questions and was very thoughtful. As a power wheelchair user, I found this place very accessible for the parts of the house I needed to get to. The hallway leading to 2 of the bedrooms was a little too tight for me to navigate, but the master bedroom with access to the master bathroom and back patio is a straight shot in. I did need to bring my own little portable ramp to get from the driveway to the front door, and I found it helpful to use getting from the master bedroom to the back patio. Neither step is bigger than 2.5", and the doorways I used are at least 28", so overall pretty easy access for me. The master bedroom has very plush carpet and the super comfortable bed is quite tall and is open underneath from the side. For those who may need to bring a portable hoist, it might be a challenge, but certainly doable.

Loved your home Renee and Lance! Every detail was tended to and the house was decorated so beautifully. The beds were super comfortable and the views amazing. The snacks were also a nice touch! We were disappointed the jets on the tub were disabled, but given everything else would highly recommend your lovely home! Check in process was easy and you were both a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful!

Needs to have Recliners, I like to prop my feet up and I don't like ottomans. All in all I just love the views and seclusion of this place...but however I would not stay again cause they have no recliners.

This was an 8th grade graduation trip for our grandson - a guy’s trip. This lovely home was perfect for them. The owners are delightful to communicate with; the location to fishing and golf excellent; and the home itself was clean and provided everything they needed.

We have stayed at this site a few times and it is one of our favorites. The host have done a great job with the property and are available for any needs. Relaxing views and location.

My family and I stayed at this property over the weekend for a baseball tourney. From the first initial message asking distance to the ballpark to the last text message when we checked out, I was impressed! Great communication! The house was everything and more! The pictures really don't do it justice. Renee and Lance go above and beyond with the details and making the most out of your stay. You will not be disappointed in staying on this property. I'm really hoping we get to stay again soon!

The word I've been using to describe our vaction in Guntersville is "Bliss"! Rattler Ridge far exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was amazing, the owners had excellent communication and were very thoughtful towards their renters. We were delighted to find an extra deck, a tire swing and a cabinet full of amazing yard toys. We also had a great experience with the local recommendations: boat rental site, ziplining and Cathedral Caverns. Thank you to Renee and Lance for making possible such an amazing family vacation!

Peaceful location! The view from the deck and windows inside the house was stunning. Host communicated very well ! Definitely coming back to stay next trip out to northern Alabama
