We loved our time in this home! Pictures are perfectly accurate, the area is beautiful and the home was clean. We traveled with teens and they loved the space and the hot tub! The movie room was fabulous! Instructions were easy! The host called us to check in upon our arrival and was available for anything we needed ! You could see and hear the zip lines right off of the deck so the entire family gave it a try!!! (Even Grammie!). We had a fabulous time ! Thank you to Joel and Claire !

Beautiful place to stay! So many good things about this place, hot tub was a hit and the game room with pool table was great for the teens and young adults. Beautiful view, I wish I spent more time at the cabin just sitting outside on one of the decks! The Zipline was fun for all ages (even a 69 year old) and so convenient, close to town for lots of fun events or shopping! Bonus THEATRE room was the best, we spent more later evenings in that room, grab some popcorn and enjoy a movie!! Hosts were top notch, making sure all was well for us! When we return to the area I won’t even bother looking for a place to stay, this is the place !! Highly recommended !!

This is one of my favorite cabins I have ever stayed in, in the area. The cabin was incredibly spacious and I would even say the pictures don’t do it justice as it’s even better in person. My family loved the movie room and we used it quite a bit. The roads leading in weren’t bad at all and it’s in a quite location very close to the parkway. The property manager is very responsive. I highly recommend it!

House is very spacious and clean. The combination of the games, pool table, hot tub and movie theater room was the perfect set up for our family. Everything combined into one cabin with an outdoor pool close by. Bonus the zip line is in the neighborhood and you get half off for staying. Best zip line we have done yet. Kids had a blast and the 4th line is our favorite called the spider man. The house is easy to get to and close to everything. Owners very nice and very accomodating if needed. Definitely worth staying here.

House was awesome, I can’t say enough good things about it! The hot tub, the movie, theater, the bedrooms, the pool table, the exquisite furniture!

Nice cabin. The AC in the movie room was acting up but the owner was easy to communicate with and sent someone out right away! We also could not find a ring we lost and they are mailing it to us. I would rent the cabin again. Also shopping and dining was only 10 to 15 min away. At first you have to get familiar with the narrow, winding roads to shops and food but it was not an issue.

4.75 Overall rating. Our family gathered from Texas and Virginia for our annual visit. Daughter, son and four grandkids 11-29. The house is in a beautiful area just 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 40 to Gatlinburg. The house is big and spacious. We really enjoyed the theater, hot tub and pool table. I’m 73 and couldn’t stay up as late as the others, so being on the bottom level of the three story cabin, while the others stayed up late shooting pool on the third level allowed me to sleep peacefully while they partied on. We easily ventured into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg each day. The ride was gorgeous and the location of the cabin is more rural and away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns, which is what we wanted. Our only critique would be that the grill is partially broken and difficult to use and the cookware really needs an upgrade. We needed a large sauce pan to cook pasta for 7 but had to cook three batches separately in the only small saucepan they had. We would give the property an overall 4.75 rating but this rating system didn’t give us that option.

We make the trip to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge each year and I think we may have just found the cabin that we will return to for our future visits. The cabin was very clean, had a great location, and had all the needed amenities. It took less than 15 minutes to make it to the main strip in Pigeon Forge and I highly recommend Wahoo Zipline that is right next door. I hope future guests enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you for providing us such a nice place to stay!

After looking at several cabins, I needed something to accommodate 3 family groups totaling 10 people. This was perfect for us and the location was very close to the pigeon forge parkway. The theater room was great and hubby will be talking about him beating the Galaga high score and being #1 with over 116k points. Lol. I planned a surprise 50th getaway for hubby and glad I went with my gut and chose this cabin based on amenities, location, price, and especially the 5star reviews of others. The host contacted me before during and after checkin and although we had no issues I am confident they would have replied instantly had we needed them. The hot water was plenty for all even to the point that I asked the host if they had a tankless hot water heater. The peloton bike was used a few times by one of my teenage sons and it was a nice addition. There were more than enough televisions to accommodate everyone. The price was extremely fair and a great value in my opinion. We’ve booked several cabins in the area over the years and never returned to the same one…not because we didn’t like them but because there was nothing personal that really would bring us back to the same one. This cabin I could definitely see us finally having a go to place for us. Everyone felt at home and comfortable that I could see us making this our new Smokey mountain cabin rental whenever we go. Especially when we go with another family. Thank you again for opening your place to us.

We enjoyed our Easter getaway in the mountains. Cabin was perfect for our group and ziplining was really fun!

I can't say enough good things about this cabin. Favorites: Oldest son- hot tub! Middle son- theater room! Youngest son- games! Hubby- pool table! Myself- cleanliness and number of baths/beds! Many wonderful memories and we hope to come back to this cabin soon , thanks to Joel and family.

Great location. Easy to get to, not to steep of a drive. 10 min away from the main strip. Great cabin with lots of fun features. Had a rough first night with the fire alarms going off every couple hours, but the host had a maintenance guy out the next morning and replaced all of them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Spa, Movie room, pool table were all great. In proximity of all attractions, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, etc. Cabin was easy to find, paved roads, and surrounding community was nice. Definitely would stay again!

This cabin was cleaner than others we've stayed in. We especially enjoyed the theater room. Communication with the host was timely and check in/out was easy. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location, amazing cabin

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very welcoming. In addition, one of the biggest benefits of staying at this cabin was that we were less than 15 minutes away from the city, where there was plenty to do. Anytime we had a question or concern, Joel was very responsive and ensured that our issues were addressed right away. We couldn't have asked for a better host, topped off with staying at such a stunning cabin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at Happy Trails. I know that I will be back!

Everything was perfect! Great communication, the place was perfect for the family, we had everything needed to keep everyone occupied and all supplies needed to cook and enough space for everyone to entertain and sleep.

First of all cleanliness is key and this cabin definitely had a good cleaning staff. The use of technology in this cabin was a wonderful upgrade. Just scan a QR code to learn how to use everything in the cabin. Which brings me to the theater room. Wow. We watched a couple movies and just some regular tv in this room. Amazing picture and sound. The weather was beautiful and fall colors were out in full so getting outdoors was important and the views from the porches were amazing. At night the hot tub was very relaxing while looking up at the stars. Large tv’s in every room. Even the pool table area had a tv. Internet was fast and reliable. Everything worked as it should. This cabin is located in a very peaceful neighborhood with many other log cabins. It’s away from all the traffic and city lights so you really feel like your out in the woods on vacation. Except your really not that far from it all. It’s an easy ride to any of the dining or shopping or attractions you would come to this area for. Great hosts, they checked up on us through the app to see if we needed anything and were quick to respond to our comments. We will definitely be back and hope to stay here again.
