The property is superb; everything one would want was available. Four tv’s satisfied everyone’s needs, although we spent little time viewing them. All appliances worked terrifically (the loudest clothes dryer anyone has ever heard!), and meals on the upper porch, overlooking the pool and golf course, were heavenly. The property was spotless when we arrived. We especially appreciated the recreational equipment ( beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, life vests, etc.) provided. The location within the resort was excellent, close to a grocery store, beaches, etc. The location of Mauna Lani is very good for exploring the northern part of the island, as well as being relatively convenient for reaching Hilo, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, etc. Pre-arrival information and contact was very thorough. The notebook of information regarding the home was very complete, and directions for accessing the privacy gates, electronic lock, (very loud) pool alarms, etc were easy to understand. One word of caution regarding wasps. There are several wasp/hornet’s nests along the sides of the property and the insects populate the hot tub, waterfall and pool areas. Two of our guests were stung on our first evening. We encourage removal of these nests to avoid serious consequences for someone allergic to bee stings. In spite of some pesky hornets, we could not have been happier with this lovely home. It satisfied all of our expectations and, without hesitation, we would return tomorrow.

The property was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 3 toddlers. While it was nice having access to the resort pools, the property's backyard pool was fantastic. Our 3 toddlers never wanted to get out and the convenience factor was a real plus. The house was lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. This house is very spacious with a great layout for a large family. The furnishings were top-notch; the kitchen was very well-equipped for any type of cooking. It was very nice to even see toddler silverware and dishes! The community pool was available and very nice, but we really used the backyard pool and hot tub since it was so convenient. Snorkel gear was in good shape as were the boogie boards and umbrella. We encountered a few major maintenance items (leaking shower, non-functioning dryer), but they were addressed as quickly as possible.

We come to the Big Island often and this was the best property we have stayed in. The sunset views from the balcony was beautiful! Quiet peaceful property was perfect for a relaxing vacation with my family. Bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas made trips to the beach better. House had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time in the Big Island in this home. The community is lovely and the house was clean and well maintained. It was very pretty, really comfortable and easily made our trip with 6 people wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the view of the golf course from the lanai was a peaceful way to drink our coffee in the morning. The house pool and spa was beautiful and a great way to close our day each evening. The community pool was also great! Use of the beach toys and tools made this trip perfect! Thank you so much for the use of this beautiful home for the week! We highly recommend it as a home base to enjoy the big island from!

We used the golf cart to go everywhere, the grocery store, the beach, the pool. We had a 3 and 1 year old with us and this was the perfect spot for them! We had some issues with the pool, but Kai got them fixed and it was perfect after that.

My family of 6 (including 2 grandkids) and I just returned from a 10 night stay at Ka Milo 307. Traveling from the Midwest, our first trip to the Big Island, was amazing in itself. However, when we walked into this beautiful home, we knew this vacation was going to be incredible! Ka Milo at Mauna Lani, was easy to find. A peaceful, well maintained community, close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The interior layout of the home was beautiful and spacious as depicted. Property was well stocked with paper products, detergent and kitchen spices. There were plenty of towels for the pool and everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach; including beach toys, bodyboards and snorkel equipment. The kids began and ended their days in the pool; which was warm and sunny most of the day. The view from the expansive upper Lani, was at times breath taking and the beds were comfortable. We all enjoyed the bikes provided and the golf cart was nice for quick trips to the shops or Foodland. We were disappointed to find they no longer offer the Luau on Mon and Thurs. at the Mauna Lani Shops, as mentioned on their website. However, Kai the property manager, was always responsive when I called with a question. I would probably suggest providing some basic instruction for using the Spa controls and maybe adding a couple of fry pans in the kitchen. But ultimately, we had a WONDERFUL vacation and our time in this lovely home is a part of those special memories. We hope to return again soon! Mahalo! Carolyn B.

Great location and amenities. Very comfortable and well appointed 3 bdrm townhouse. Good outdoor barbecue and expansive lanai. Good large kitchen, well stocked with cooking utensils. Full size washer and dryer, lots of bath towels and beach towels. Nice private pool and right on the golf course. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the home and pool, awesome location, great view, nice yard but.... Many maintenance and cleaning issues. Kitchen was filthy, exhaust hood was dripping cooking grease, oven was a mess inside, fridge stunk badly. Property manager sent people to come and re-clean, they cleaned exhaust hood, fridge still stunk. We had to clean fridge and oven ourselves, utensils, plates, pots, pans.... were greasy and dirty, utensils in drawers had dried food on them. We had to wash everything before we could use. We wouldnt put food our in fridge till we properly cleaned it. Dishwasher stunk inside, broken. Kitchen smelled and pretty much everything had greasy film. Kitchen sink was disgusting. Table place mats were filthy and unusable, oven mitts covered with dried food. Filtered water dispenser in fridge trickled water very slowly, no date written on filter when it was changed and it looked like it was there for a long time. I had to buy a new water filter as filter is supposed to be replaced every 6 months due to risk of bacterial contamination, had my kids and small baby here. Cutting knives in kitchen were butter knife dull, I drove to 3 stores to find a sharpener as no sharpener available. Very few tea towels and dish cloths (2 tea towels ) Master bathroom had dried toothpaste in sink from previous guests. Bicycle had flat tire. Washing machine broke. Propane on bbq ran out after 2 uses, no backup bottle. Mould in upstairs shower. Rug in upstairs bedroom filthy. Light in pool didn’t work. No instructions available for pool and spa controls, we never did properly figure it out as controller is poorly labeled. BBQ cabinet infested by termites.

The home is very clean and well appointed with furnishings. The pools were regularly checked and maintained. One of the two bicycles had a flat tire, as did the golf cart. We commend this home as a most enjoyable Hawaiian experience.
