This was a very clean house with a great location. The kitchen could use some updated utensils and pans but other than that, it was perfect for us. There is only two parking spots so that would make it difficult to bring my large family back but perfect for our small girls trip! Host was very helpful and communicated on any request that came up.

The house was perfect to accommodate our party of 8! We loved the layout and the location. The house was very clean. Hosts were easy to get a hold of. Nothing much negative - ran out of toilet paper, bed was a little hard and contractors showed up unannounced. Otherwise , we had a wonderful stay and a would revisit this property! Location was great just feet from the beach and the pool was just what we needed. Thank you , thank you!!

We had a great stay and the four bedrooms were exactly what we needed for our 5 adults and 4 year old to spend the holidays together. Everything was as advertised and it is a very short walk to the beach, which we all loved! Thanks and we would definitely rent Shell House again!!

Good location to beach. Comfortable beds. Could use new microwave handle looked like it was glued. Deck was old.

The location was the best part of this rental. It was a short walk to the beach and well maintained saltwater pool. There were restaurants and entertainment within walking distance and a grocery store nearby. The common grounds of the property are well maintained. I would not say the same about this property. The porch looked nothing like the quaint pic which is what drew me in. The house and especially the deck and stairs need work. It may be structurally safe but that’s about it. The wood is splintered, paint is peeling, rusty broken screw heads, and broken chairs. Inside had dead bugs/lizards which my grandson found to be amazing but us adults did not. It needs more than a ‘surface’ cleaning. The rusty fridge was off putting as was the cracked couch and chair pad that had a peeling back. It was great to have 4 bedrooms but it would be helpful to put up room darkening curtains. The steep/narrow staircase inside could be challenging especially when having to carry items up and maneuvering children. If you’re looking for a thoughtfully decorated and soothing environment to relax and enjoy while at the beach then this is not your place. All the furnishings/contents are haphazard and some don’t even fit the space. If you could care less about that kind of thing and are just looking for 4 bedrooms to sleep while you are at the beach then this is your spot. This could be a really special rental with some thoughtful updates and maintenance.

We had a great time at the Sea Shell House. It was very clean and comfortable. The beach was easily accessible and beautiful. The house is in a very convenient location. We were easily able to walk to restaurants. While you are in St Augustine, I highly recommend visiting the Salt Spa. It is beautiful and relaxing. We will be back!

So glad we opted to stay at the beach and not downtown. House has a great layout with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and living area on each level. Lots of extra beach/pool tools. Perfect location that felt close to everything.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Seashell House. The layout was great for our large family. The proximity to the pool and easy access to the beach were features we all loved. The home has a large deck to enjoy the ocean breeze. The outdoor shower was an added bonus to wash off after our day at the beach. The storage closet with beach gear had everything we needed. The property is very close to all the restaurants, coffee shop, and the grocery store we wanted to visit in St. Augustine Beach. David had solid communication and was in touch with all the details to access to the home and to provide clear check out instructions. Thank you for a great summer getaway.

This 4 bedroom house was perfect for 4 sisters on vacation. We each had our own beds.Perfect. Very close to the beach. Comfy beds, nice kitchen. Would rent again.

The location is convenient and not far at all from downtown St. Augustine. Having a pool and short walk to the beach was great. Would be helpful to update some kitchen utensils and add a vacuum. Beds are comfy.

One of our best vacations EVER!! Spotless and perfectly equipped house. Pool was steps away and the ocean was a short walk. Shed had tons of beach and pool toys. Having 4 bedrooms was amazing. Nice having washer and dryer, Short drive to Publix for groceries and short drive to downtown St Augustine. I would give this house and area 10 Stars for being awesome. We WILL go back!!

Love the separate spaces to let everyone enjoy the Beach their own way. This could be tough for someone who has knee problems with the tight stairs. But really great for family fun!

We celebrated my 40th birthday! It was set up so nice, beds were amazing, and location to beach was great!!

The positive things about the house are: We found the house to be in a good central location. It had private access to the beach and a nice community pool. The house was equipped with most things you need and the owners provided a starter supply of kitchen and bathroom products. There were very nice beach towels. It was also very quiet when the doors and windows were closed even though it was right on a busy street. The negatives: The house is very worn and needs painting, especially the porch. The furniture is uncomfortable and some items were torn or stained. One of the beds had stained sheets. The beach equipment is a joke. It was all rusted or broken. Given that there were other rentals in the same complex that were less expensive and that there were problems with our rental, we don’t feel like the property rates a 5 star review. It could be a 5 star with a little upkeep, new furniture and new beach equipment.

House was perfect for us! Great location for us ! We have family that lives in St Augustine and we were down to visit them for the Holidays we loved the house had a small Christmas tree up and decorated, along with other Christmas decorations in the house. Owners were great and always responded very fast. Highly recommend this property it is perfect for a beach vacation in St Augustine!! Hosue had a Gas Grill which was great ! Also tons of beach stuff at the property you can use like chairs, umbrellas, kids toys. Price was a little high For what were use to paying for similar but we were there during the week from Christmas to New Years so that might of had something to do with it.

Nice property. Lots of bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and a great deck. Good separation for big groups with two bedrooms on the lower floor and the master bedroom and kitchen above. BUT, it's right on the main road and fairly noisy. To add to the noise, the furnace is loud and the washing machine is louder! So, don't run the A/C or washing machine at night and try to sleep. It's fairly far from town, but very close to the beach.

Seashell House has definitely met our expectations. Light, airy decor and comfortable bedding and furniture has made our stay very pleasant and we enjoyed having morning coffee on the outside deck. The area is quiet and only minutes to walk to the pool and beach. It’s an easy drive into old St. Augustine to enjoy its history, restaurants and shopping.

We enjoyed our stay at the seashell house! 4 bedrooms near the beach is hard to come by! Lots of beach supplies in the closet and easy walk to the beach!

It was an amazing week. The house was a great place to gather, it was clise to the beach and not far from old towne St Augustine.

Great location with beach access. The house even came with beach toys, chairs, etc. Had everything we needed. Good use of space and were glad to have 4 bedrooms.

Came for a writer's retreat with friends, and it was the perfect place for it! We spent mornings at the beach and wrote all afternoon. Will definitely do this again!

Had a great stay at the seashell home and short walk to the beach. Very quiet and home was in great shape for the week. Would do this again for sure!

Nice community and great location. House is roomy and clean. Only thing I’d recommend is updating furniture/appliances and kitchen utensils such as cookware, knives ect.

The house was very roomy and not cramped, it also was a very close walk to the beach so you did not have to drive anywhere.
