Thr river was very high and very fast. It rained for two days straight and hardly let up. The cabin is set up for a great time no matter what the weather is like. The pavilion was a lifesaver for the long weekend, with bad weather. We will be back next trout season for the third time and I already can’t wait. Fantastic owners, Thanks Hal, and family ❤️

Cabin was great. Open yet didn’t feel too big. Plenty of seating. Great views of the Clarion. We played a lot of shuffleboard! Covered pavilion and wood burning grill were used multiple times. Did drizzle on us a few times so having the outdoor covered area was nice. Unfortunately Clarion was too high/fast to canoe in but kids spent plenty of time down by the water. Lots of access points. Probably best part of our experience was working with Hal. Was very accommodating, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

Great location for a relaxing getaway. Property was well maintained and it was just what we needed. On nice days we sat by the river, hiked and cooked most dinners on the fire. We had some rainy days but very cozy to watch movies and just relax indoors as well! Definitely a place to check out:) thanks!!!

We had a family situation that forced us to shorten our trip, but once we were able to arrive it was fantastic! The cabin is incredible and being directly on the water was amazing! I honestly don't have a negative thing to say.

This is the second time we stayed at this cabin,We absolutely love the location and the atmosphere is so relaxing.The perfect vacation spot.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The property itself was clean and beautiful. Very accessible and easy to find. Hosts were very quick to respond prior to our stay with last minute questions. We took full advantage of sitting on the river shore and the pavilion for playing cards at night. We brought river tubes with us and drove a few minutes up the hill to the Iriwin canoe launch and floated in our tubes directly to the cabin. We will be returning as soon as possible. It was truly an amazing place to stay!!

This was a family vacation with 6 adults and 1 15-month-old and our assorted dogs. The location of the house was perfect for swimming, tubing and kayaking. We also visited the Straub Brewery for a tour and lunch, hiked the Beartown Rocks Trail, biked the Clarion-Little Toby Trail, tried unsuccessfully to see elk, visited the Family Inn and the Diamond Deer ranch. We would recommend all of these activities and this rental to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We also found some time to relax on the deck with a beautiful view and have a campfire. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and would highly recommend this rental!

This was our second stay at the cabin…once again we had a fantastic time!! Rain was predicted but it never happened! Coffee and breakfasts over the campfires along with the evenings just made us feel so relaxed listening to the babbling river and nature at its finest. Everyone floated or canoed or just parked a chair in the river and thoroughly chilled. Memories and laughs made…what more could we ask!! Thank you to our hosts, they are very sweet and accommodating, and we all were grateful for this family time together disconnecting from all our busy lives. Thank you for having us again!!

GREAT! Me and my friends have been coming down camping on the Clarion for 30 years. We’ve have done it all on that river. From renting from loves canoe rental and now lazy river. We’ve canoe camped for days, we’ve tent camped all over and fished. Kayaks have replaced canoes, and last year we tent camped like we have done many times at the shore site just upstream of this place. That’s when we discovered this rental. With all of us getting older this is perfect. No more tent camping and everything you need at a beautiful place in the river. Did Arroyo to the cabin. It was great. We will be back. Thank you!

Every year we plan a 2 day girls trip for myself and 4 of my friends, we were lucky to find this gem for this years stay. We all agreed it was the most relaxing and laid back stay we have had in awhile. We loved be right on the river and the pavilion was where we spent most of our time soaking in the view and sharing laughs. The property was as described and very clean! We had an awesome stay and absolutely plan to return!

Overall, nice cabin for a weekend getaway! Hal was responsive and accommodating. The cabin itself was beautiful and welcoming. Only suggestion for property owner would be to maintenance the grill, and for renters to bring paper products. Thank you!

The property was exactly as pictured but even more beautiful and was very clean. This was a different kind of trip for us--we packed food to have every meal on location and just spent lots of time together--yet still had enough room at the location for time to ourselves as well. We at dinner outside and had a campfire every night. The time with family in nature will certainly be remembered for years to come (and too many activities to list here). We would definitely come back! A few side notes for those that consider renting: keep in mind that you only get 1 towel & washcloth per guest regardless of length of stay + 1 hand towel per bathroom, so if you prefer more you need to bring more. Also, if you don't prefer a flat pillow you'll need to bring your own. Wifi signal was much better than expected and same with the TV channels offered (we only used it when we needed down time).

We held a small event here and it was wonderful. The covered porch with grill and tables overlooking the Clarion river was perfect. Very quiet and lots of nature to observe. The cabin was stunning and made a lasting impression. Very spacious. We hope to return!

This was a perfect little getaway with the kiddos. The house was immaculate, secluded and right on the water. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hope to be back when the water is a little warmer but this was a great intro trip.

Beautiful cabin on the river. Unfortunately the weather gods didn’t help out. Power was knocked out 2 different times during our stay, we made the best of it with candles and bbq grill. Would stay there again and hope for better weather.

The cabin is new and absolutely beautiful. All the amenities you need. Communication with owner was outstanding. As a customer my only negative is I would like to have seen curtains or blinds for the windows on the main floor. I was with a group of guys and it wasn't a big deal to us but as a family with children I would like that option. Overall, 5 star plus!

This is almost more beautiful than the pictures. Thought a wintertime trip in February to celebrate a birthday would be ok, but this turned out to a magical place on the river. Well maintained, close to great hiking and very peaceful. Even had a bit of snow. Hal was very helpful in guiding us the last couple of miles as we were without GPS in the dark, literally. Would love to visit again in the summer. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous location. Fun outdoor campfire space. Lots of beds, but they are mostly all in 1 great room with double sided loft (making it hard for separate bed times). Hosts were wonderful, flexible and easy to work with.

Even in the winter, the property was absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for a little weekend getaway if you’re looking for a cozy, comforting, and wonderfully relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing property and cabin. It sits right on the Clarion River and the view from this property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is just breath taking. It's a new cabin and so well furnished and designed as well as spacious and comfortable. My wife and friends had a fantastic time on our long weekend winter get away. We stay in a 5 star resort when we go to Myrtle Beach and this cabin was every bit a 5 star rating. This cabin went straight to the top of our list for a summer trip to float the river. Thanks to the owner for checking in to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. We truly had a remarkable trip. Thanks

Enjoyed our stay!

Cozy new cabin near the river. Really enjoyed the outdoor space - beautiful deck, sound system, fire pit, pavilion, lighting and accessibility to the cabin from both floors. Easy access process and great responsiveness from the owners. Town is about 20 minutes away for any groceries. Too cold for water sports in October but great waterfront accessibility for tubing or fishing. Great dog park near town for our pup, too!

Excellent cabin nestled in the mountains overlooking the river. Beautiful setting and we were Blessed with gorgeous weather. The cabin was very clean with all amenities. 8 adults slept comfortably, with 2 of them making the lowest floor another bedroom, using an air mattress and utilizing the wood burner for heat. The host responded extremely quickly whenever we had a question. Everything is as you see in the photos. All positive comments from our group. Only notes to self is that the miles are mountain miles, so give yourself plenty of time to travel if you venture out anywhere. 20 miles takes about 50-60 minutes. We went horseback riding and hiking in Cook Forest and it was fantastic long weekend. Loved it all!

We stayed during the fall and the view from the deck was amazing! The cabin is beautiful and just like described. We will definitely being going again.
