The apartment is very big and super clean.

Comfortable and great location!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The beds are exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked. The owners were available and helpful.

The apartment is very well stylish and comfortable , from this aspect you will not be disappointed, however, you need to read the fine print as the large central pool area you overlook is a large construction area with the pools being completely rebuilt. If you are comfortable with the ugliness and construction noise and the complete lack of any Resort type amenity and pools go for it.

The large ugly pool construction which was not highlighted when booking. The owners need to be far more explicit in their description and photos as to the impact of the pool rebuild, and stop describing this as an Upmarket RESORT. The Oaks is tired and with the whole core of it a construction site.

The pools were all closed due to renovation. That was a bit of a downer.

The location is fantastic near the Pier. Huge apartment with 3 rooms all with own bathroom & toilet. 2 spas’s in the apartment also for added luxury not to mention how comfortable the bed was. Like sleeping on a cloud. The fridge also was large enough to accommodate large quantities of food & drinks.

I couldn’t stay longer.

The location was amazing, beautiful water views! The room was immaculate, so clean and tidy when we arrived. The beds were super comfortable, and we were surprised to find we actually had 3 bathrooms which was awesome for 6 adults! The size of the apartment and dining table/lounge area was perfect for a large family!

Minor issue but it would have been handy to have an extra key/swipe card or 2, we had people ducking in and out all throughout the day but needed a key for the electricity so someone had to go down to ground to let others back in etc.

Beautiful quiet location with a pretty view. The rooms were stunning and equipped with luxurious items. The whole apartment felt spacious and for the first time, our teenagers didn’t fight over rooms, because each was beautiful.

Unfortunately the pools were under construction.

The apartment was lovely.

when we booked it was after looking at the most beautiful pictures of the room and more importantly the facilities. the outdoor area and pool pictures were plentiful and very impressive. however many times we scrolled through we did not see any indication that the pools were under construction and the whole outdoor area was out of bounds. No sun beds to relax etc.. when we contacted the owner we were told that it was clearly stated in the pictures that the work was underway. The notice was in fact a little box with tiny writing. I don’t believe was there prior to our booking. if it was it was not noticeable at all. Following our complaint and after I messaged, we then saw that the whole booking .com ad had been changed( this happened on Monday 19th Dec. we arrived on Sunday 18th. We feel we were misled totally. Our short break was ruined, as my Husband is severely disabled and we were dependent on him being able to float in the pool. something that helps him enormously. booking.com are still advertising other apartments in this property with no mention of the pools being out if use and that the outdoor area is a construction site. disappointed does not come near to how we feel. we came home deflated

The views from the unit were excellent and the central location allowed you to walk everywhere. Having a cafe and bar below in the complex was also very convenient.

The property was beautiful

I should ah e been advised at the time of booking the pool wasn’t going to be operational at the time of our stay, not after I had already booked and paid. I would not have stayed at the property without a pool!

The location is good and thankfully the Oaks staff themselves are amazing but sadly have nothing to do with this unit. The hotel itself seems like it would be good if pools were actually open - however there is NO END IN SITE TO CONSTRUCTION AS ADVISED BY OAKS and this apartment is not managed by Oaks and they don’t openly share that all facilities are closed.

Booked for our honeymoon and advised we would have our two year old with us. Advert said ONE pool was closed not all facilities (meaning all pools, playground, bbq etc). Nothing was open. When we raised with owner initially they offered a stay next year mid week at a time suiting them on the proviso as well that we not post anything negative. We however asked for a refund instead as they had shown photos of pools open on their advert (Oaks comparatively who own the rest of the hotel clearly show on their ads that facilities are closed). The owners have since refused to honour anything. Secondly because this is a PRIVATE rental the (much kinder) hotel staff can’t help and don’t even have keys for an emergency which happened to us when our toddler LOCKED HIMSELF IN THE BEDROOM with NO WAY OUT. A terrifying experience for all of us. We had to call the fire brigade just to try and get help. Thankfully we managed to coax him out but god forbid if he’d been in the bathroom or pulled something on himself. Also a MAJOR fire risk. No support from owner til we managed to get our son out and no concern for this happening. Our two year old also let himself out the front as there is no way to lock the door internally - he is two so I’d encourage any parents to be VERY careful. There’s also issues with poor or non working utensils (pan handle near fell off and toaster handle did fall off and nearly cut me), disgustingly blocked drains that WE had to clean, hair and dirt across the apartment… the list goes on. We made SERIOUS attempts to resolve issues with the owners privately and come to a fair resolution however they have refused to engage or even just simply respond despite knowing my father is terminally ill with just weeks to live and that we were trying to have a short but special honeymoon. There is just a total lack of regard for decency. Even on reviews here you see they only respond to positive responses!

The apartment itself was very nice as was the location.

Booked the apartment on the understanding there would be access to a swimming pool. My two children normally spend most of their holidays in and around the pool. Upon arrival I was dismayed to discover the pool closed for renovations which had commenced several weeks prior to my arrival. I would most definitely not have booked the holiday if known. Very disappointed there was no mention of this in either the listing or any correspondence.

Everything. Was super happy to find the apartment actually had 3 bathrooms with the 3 bedrooms. Was super clean, super comfy and within walking distance to restaurants and the jetty.

The location of the unit complex and the location of the unit within the complex. The unit was big, beautifully decorated and very clean.

The location is fabulous with ocean views.

The Wi-Fi is dreadful, the apartment is extremely dusty and the level of cleanliness is poor, no mattress protector on the master bed, sheets don't fit the master bed, poor linen quality, poor bathroom amenities, no face washer, we had to purchase toilet rolls and tissues. The apartment needs a good deep clean. Instruction should be provided on how to operate the stove top.
