Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money.

Convenient location, breakfast had a good varied selection.

The bed was soft and sagging in the middle, the pillows were very lumpy. When we arrived, both rooms we booked smelled of cigarette smoke. In fact, there were ashtrays in the rooms. When I enquired about this and asked to change rooms, there was no apology, only that these were the last rooms and couldn't be exchanged.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years. I love the fact it is a traditional french hotel, with an excellent restaurant. the owners, who have been running the hotel for many years are helpful and give that personal touch as do all the staff. the rooms are attractive, and the setting of the hotel peaceful, yet within in walking distance off the very charming town. it’s a good centre for exploring the area.

the breakfast was very good indeed - many choices from the buffet trolley, more than enough in fact. Plenty of coffee to wake you up too! Lovely room with a double window overlooking the front of the hotel. Very polite and helpful staff who were very keen to help and explain things to us foreigners!

Excellent location and very welcoming owners. The dinner was excellent. The town of Bagnoles de L'Orne is beautiful.

The evening waitress was less than friendly. Needs some training.
