Was a wonderful experience

I stayed with a group of friends and the house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The views are amazing. I love that it’s secluded, but also a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. It is just as pictured and one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed. The kitchen is very well stocked with anyone you might need. I can’t wait to stay here again!

An absolutely magical place! We had lots of activities planned, but we found we couldn't wait to get back to the house to relax and enjoy the beauty of the view, the quiet and the feeling of being so away from it all. Morning coffees on the deck made it difficult to leave! Yet for all the privacy and remoteness, it was surprisingly close to everything! We even experienced a late-evening visit by a bear who was not in the least concerned that four adults were taking his picture and making noise. He hung around at the house for a few minutes before heading back into the woods. This house is a special place, and we can't wait to come back! P.S. the reason for the 4-star review on the accuracy of the listing is that although we searched high and low, we could not find an iron and ironing board. Also, the "hike up the dead-end road" was more a short walk than a hike as we were expecting a slightly more lengthy wooded hiking trail.

This house was a great option for 4 adult couples. Plenty of room and great amenities.

Loved being on the mountain It’s exactly what we wanted from Asheville

The property was in a great location if you would like to be close to Asheville yet feel like you are out in the mountains. Cell phone coverage was ok and the WiFi was fast enough for a work video call. The house was as described in the posting and was clean and bright. After staying in the home I would recommend it for couples or friends as an adult getaway or if you had adult children. I would not recommend for group with small children under 6 as there is no useable outside area and the home layout puts everyone together in the same common space. We did have a few issues we noticed while we were there. There was a broken window in the garage and the cover over the jacuzzi was all torn up. It looked like the bears you see walking around the rear of the property tore through the jacuzzi cover and then tried to get into the trash cans in the garage through the window. Not something that could be avoided but would have been nice to get a heads up from the property management company. All in all it was a great place to get away for a long weekend.

The house was exactly as advertised and the location is very convenient. Very comfortable, great views, great location. The multi level deck and seating areas made the space feel even larger. We spent most of our time outside. It was fun to see the wildlife that visited the yard. Our favorite was mama bear and her cubs. We hope to rent this property for our next trip to Asheville.

Beautiful property with amazing views. Living room has lots of seating for time together. Hot Tub was a bonus. Would stay here again. Well appointed kitchen.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck areas with full-sized dining table and covered seating areas with comfortable outdoor furniture. Although within about a short 10 minute drive to downtown, the setting was very private and quiet. Lovely view of mountain behind property. We were even lucky enough to to be entertained by a mama bear and 2 Cubs frolicking in an own area just outside of the backyard fence!!! Our only suggestion is to provide additional cooking supplies and serving utensils. While the plates, glasses, cups and eating utensils were plentiful, it was not well stocked for cooking utensils, pots and pans and serving dishes and utensils based on the number of guests. We had a group of 8 and all of us recommend this property!

Our family group consisted of 4 couples and the rooms and layout were great. Nice for any who stay up late or get up earlier than the rest. We used the fireplace, fire pit and hot tub and enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor spaces. The location was great for our activities--hiking, Biltmore, dining. Couldn't have been happier!

Beautiful property! Everything was great, no issues at all. Looking forward to coming back!

Overall, it's a nice place. There were a few items that need to be corrected but we didn't even contact the manger about them. It's a great location just far enough away to get away but very convenient to what Asheville has to offer.

Great house and perfect location. Only knock is with the property management company and their lack of communication. We had a couple small issues, called to report them, and never received a call back.

House was very clean and comfortable, the Mountain View’s were spectacular.

This was the perfect place for a Lady's get away weekend. The views are spectacular and serene. The house is well appointed, super clean and very comfortable. Good location for all parts of Asheville (by car). I would definitely recommend it for medium sized groups (we had 6 ladies and 4 shared the King beds).

This is a beautiful home with incredible views! It was conveniently located and perfect for our girls trip to celebrate my mom!

Nice layout and amenities. Great mountain views. Plenty of towels. Starter kits for basic goods. Great gas grill, hot hub. The road up the mountain was challenging, and that initial drive down the driveway with the blindspot was nerve-wracking, but we got used to it. Saw a bear or 3 around trash day. If you like a backyard or a walk outside, this would be tough to do. Plenty of parks around, though. The Peloton was a nice touch! Bring your Delta clips! We brought our own Roku stick for the main TV. You'll need an extension cord to be able to plug that in. All-in-all, we'd stay again. Absolutely!

Fantastic! I was initially hesitant about booking this property due to the lack of reviews. We were not disappointed, this property had it all! The views were breathtaking, I loved feeding my one month old son on the porch while watching the sunrise. We even witnessed a Mama bear and her two cubs walking through the property!

Perfect girls trip to deliver my daughter to camp in the area. View off the patio was incredible, hot tub was the perfect end of the day setting. We rested and relaxed and we look forward to staying again.
