The overall property worked very well for our family! Although the weather could of been warmer, the outdoor living areas of this house are great! We loved the location of this house being walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

We had a tremendous time at Rum Cove. It provided a perfect place for our family to stay. It is close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping. My kids and grandkids loved the pool, shuffleboard table and media room. The kitchen and outdoor bar/grill are equipped with top tier appliances making it easy to cook whatever you want. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay on Anna Maria Island.

Super cute house. Minor issues were addressed promptly. Trolley stop within walking distance. Golf cart available for use. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The upstairs deck was great for fires at night. Only suggestion is to put up hooks to hang bath towels in the downstairs bathroom.

5 couples. Loved the house. (You can read the other reviews for the great comments...all accurate). Great experience. Goose and Gander were very responsive. Would rent again. Loved separate HVAC controls in each bedroom. For those looking at houses the only drawback is that there really wasn't a large place to gather indoors to watch an evening movie or sports, etc. For us it wasn't a problem though. We spent our time outdoors between the house and pool. We watched NFL, MLB playoffs, etc. on the large screen TV outdoors.

This house had everything we needed for our family. Plenty of fun right at the house, just like a resort. Spent lots of time in the swimming pool. Great location on the island for an easy walk, golf cart ride to the beach or to eat, paddle boards & kayak's, plus a boat dock for the pontoon we rented. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on Anna Maria Island other than Rum Cove!

We stayed a week with our adult children. The property was amazing. We had one small issue (battery needed to be changed in a smoke alarm) but they handled it immediately. They stocked the house with all the essentials that you normally have to bring on your own (paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, hand soap at all sinks, etc). The location was perfectly located near Pine Street. Three washers and dryers allowed everyone to keep up on laundry throughout the week. The pool area was one of the best we’ve ever had, compared to other AMI properties. And the (air conditioned) restroom right off the pool was fantastic! We really enjoyed having individual AC units in each bedroom, in addition to central AC. No more complaints that some bedrooms were hot and some were cold. Our group has never stayed in the same property twice but we would definitely stay here again!!

Our 2nd family vacation to Rum Cove in 2 years and it was just a good as the first!! The property has everything you could dream of for a fantastic vacation. And Goose & Gander is hands down the very best property mgmt, top notch all around. If I could figure out my dates for next year, I’d already have Rum Cove booked! We stay at Anna Maria every year, this year was by far the best because of Run Cove! All the little details made it a perfect place for our family.

Wonderful property, our second year here for our family of 11 tall people. Had 5 king size beds. Management company Goose and Gander met us at property when we arrived and responded to all our needs quickly. Loved the layout with kitchen on pool level. Just perfect.

Rum Cove was beautiful and in a prime Anna Maria location. Property managers were very responsive. We are already talking about returning!

Something for everyone. Management team was amazing and we loved every minute of this property. Can’t wait to plan our next stay. Didn’t want to leave. So many cool things about this property that you can’t even talk about.

We had 3 families that stayed at Rum Cove with children from 5 to 10 in age. The kids loved the pool and whole outdoor experience. It was great to have 3 masters so each family had a good accommodation for the adults. The location can not be beat in terms of walking to the beach, stores, etc. The view of the canal is awesome and we found out on our last full days if you paddle out by the church you will frequently see 3 dolphins playing and catching fish. We got to experience this and it was one of the best parts of the trip. We cooked in almost every night because restaurants were packed so we appreciated the grill and oven. Overall we loved our experience. A few improvements/notes, a lot of the cabinets and one of the fridges were hard to close/open and we almost lost a full fridge of food because we didn't realize the bottom drawers were stuck and that caused the entire fridge to stop working, after that we were very careful to make sure all drawers were fully closed (the one in the kitchen.) Sound system doesn't work well. Lights are frustrating (esp. for the kids.) We noticed a lot of knobs would also just pop off cabinets/sinks. We would definitely return as the pros GREATLY outweigh any improvements!

Rum Cove was a dream for our family and the two other families that stayed with us. The house was well kept and came with everything you need to enjoy your beach vacation on the Island (Pool, hot tub, firepit, dock to fish from, bikes, 6-person golf cart, putting green, kayak, paddle boards, all the beach towels and chairs you need, shuffle board, etc.). The location was perfect to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, spacious house, and amenities. Worked well for our three generation family of 10. Beautiful pool area and great to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. Very helpful to have the golf cart, beach items, bikes, kayaks etc without having to rent separately. Would not hesitate to return.

Large, comfortable, well equipped house in a small town setting. Great beach, except for the unexpected red tide. Enjoyed the pools, steam shower and golf cart. The property managers were very helpful without being intrusive.

This loverly home’s layout works perfect for our family/extended family. Our kids/grandkids love the outdoor living space, especially the pool. The second story deck with fire pit is the adults favorite for relaxing evening enjoying a cocktail and conversation. The location of the home is ideal - walk for coffee, bakery goods, pizza, taco’s and bbq. The golf cart was great for ice cream runs with the grandkids. The beach is so close to walk and you provide so many toys, chairs and cart to carry everything. This is our second trip and a third is planned for next year - we love this place!

Hard to imagine a better place for an 80th birthday celebration. Surrounded by big palm trees and beautiful landscaping, with a Lani facing east toward a dock on the canal, Rum Cove in the morning felt like a private tropical retreat. During the day, the bicycles and golf cart made island sightseeing and trips to the beach easy. At night, the lighting on the palms and gardens, pool, spa and fire pit created a magical setting. Rum Cove's interior design and decoration was fun and functional, lots of space to gather and lots of space to be apart. And all of this supported by a knowledgable and responsive property manager.

This is our second time renting this place for our family vacation and it was wonderful. Walking distance just down from beach access, shopping and food.

There were plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 children under 9! The living from outdoor to indoor was awesome and worked well for our group. Location to beach and local shops/restaurants was great!

This property is beyond special!!! The quality and uniqueness of this home, indoor and outdoor is top notch! The house is in a perfect location....off the beaten path and quiet, but a short walk/bike/golf cart to ride to the neat shops and restaurants AMI has to offer! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly imagine and more...loved having use of a golf cart and bikes to get around, and enjoyed exploring the canal with the kayak and paddlebaords as well! The pool/spa/lanai was an absolute favorite gathering place for the family. The warmth of the spa and the fire pit made it an enjoyable hangout even with the cooler temps we had while there. The putting green is a nice size too! Goose & Gander were so incredibly helpful and friendly.....answered all of our questions beforehand and were timely in helping us during our stay too! The house is great for a group with children. The pool, hot tub, dock, kayak were all hits. The house has many amenities, though some are not fully functional, which was fine except for the fact that the outdoor firepit was not working due to a broken part. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider returning nect year.

We loved our experience at Rum Cove. It was perfect for our family. There were 14 of us including 9 grandchildren. The house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location so close to Pine Ave made it possible for some of the kids to walk around the corner to some of the shops. The beach was only a few blocks away and the golf cart was a great thing to have. We used the paddle boards and kayak a couple of times and the pool, hot tub area was an oasis in itself. We enjoyed our time there at Rum Cove immensely.

The pool/spa/lanai was an absolute favorite gathering place for the family or in the early morning enjoying coffee + the waterfalls = zen. Nightly & lively shuffleboard tournaments in the gallery after sunset viewings beachside. Everything you would need for a perfect beach getaway from beach chairs to coolers, towels to toys, plus a golf cart and bikes to explore the island. Rum Cove is literally around the corner from Pine Ave and some of the very best places to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner and the most adorable little shops to pop into for wonderful souvenirs (AMI Outfitters & Island Charms top favs).
