The view of the pacific was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable.

Upon arrival the place smelt so strong of bleach however the kitchen was dirty. My fiancé’s black socks became white on the bottom after walking around for a bit. Dishes were dirty and the cabinets had greasy fingerprints on them. The view was pretty but the unit is right next to the highway so you can’t really hear the ocean waves over the car noise. The neighbors are extremely sensitive to any noise and will call security to come tell you. Everyday security came by to tell us about another complaint even when we were just talking at diner (we were not there to party). This usually would start at 7pm. At the end of our four day stay we were just laying on the couch watching a movie at very low volume to make sure we wouldn’t get bothered again. Security showed up claiming that we were making loud banging noises and that we must have been jumping. He even wanted to come in our unit to “inspect”. When he saw that we were just laying in front of the tv he let us be. With a threat of having to pay $100 fine or the potential of being evicted after a third noise complaint we felt extremely uncomfortable during our stay. When I pay luxury pricing I expect to feel comfortable and safe. That was definitely not the case here. The security guard did try to hustle us to pay for parking when it was supposed to be included in the extremely overpriced rental. We managed to get the owner involved to square away that issue but the security guard did insist that he expected at least some Coca Cola light when the second car of our party arrived. Sounds funny but at the time we were left with a constant feeling of being on guard for the next attempt to get extorted at the resort where we were supposed to have a relaxing time. The gate security has drivers for you to get you to town. A 10 minute drive to Puerto Nuevo was $20, which is extremely overpriced considering a cab from the border (45 minutes) was $30.

The condo is just as pictured, really spacious, very clean, well set up with everything you need! Beds were very comfy - beautiful view from the balcony, it sits beach front. There is a private beach to use my family loved playing on the beach and boogie boarding. The condo sits in between Rosarito & Puerto Nuevo which is a great location to be close to the action food and shopping but away from the noise. Would definitely recommend and will return. Hosts were always responsive, answered all our questions, and even sent us a list of places to see and restaurants to try!
