Amazing setting and amazing hosts. They provided the best breakfast of our trip. Pool was great catching all the sun.

If possible, a little more shower pressure

The finca is located in relaxing and natural, hilly surroundings on a small pilgrimage route leading up to a chapel behind the house. You will hear a multitude of birds singing and occasionally the bells and sounds of sheep grassing nearby and there is no noise from traffic and cars. My bedroom and the attached bath were spacious and spotlessly clean. The hosts David and Birgit really do everything to make you feel welcomed and go out of their way to give good hints and tips on what to experience in the area. It is possible to order amazing home cooked vegan food for dinner, if you sign up a day in advance. The outdoor kitchen (with roofing) is cozy for brewing ones own coffee and cooking ones own food. During my stay it was possible to have a local, very skilled massage therapist to come to the finca and offer me a massage, and during the weekend there is usually a Hatha yoga session for a small fee. I stayed here in early/mid May and didn’t make use of the AC, but it’s good to know it’s available if needed. Perhaps one of the most relaxing and rare features for this finca was the sound of the small river running just below the house - it was really the “cherry on top of the cake”!

Coming from a “flat” country (Denmark), I had to overcome my fear of driving a couple of km on small mountain road/dirt roads to reach the finca. however, it was totally worth it and not a negative aspect of the finca as such. As there was no traffic on the road leading to the finca it was easy to get used to and I felt quite confident after driving the stretch a couple of times. I would believe similar conditions will apply for any finca located in such natural surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Birgit and David were very nice and helpful, food was good, the place wonderful, in a beautiful valley near the rivulet, the pool perfect! You will feel at home!
