Great apartment..and well equipped.. very comfortable beds with lots of pillows which was nice.. we were on third floor so a view too. Lisa was very helpful and lent us umbrellas which were needed! Definitely recommend

We had a very pleasant stay here. Very central, but quiet. Good size for a family. Good communication with host. Definietely recommend.

We loved our stay in Vitória. We are three 50+ women from the US. We were comfortable in our three bedrooms, and we enjoyed the rest of the living space as well. The place was very clean. The location turned out to be perfectly situated between sights we wanted to see north (uphill) and south (downhill). We were pleased to get to know manager Luisa a little as her office is on the ground floor. We had no concerns, but it was good to know that she’d be so available if we did. This apartment is a good and affordable choice.

We loved our stay at the Sao Miguel apartment. The check-in process was very smooth and our host was so helpful! We had flight delays and she accommodated us and helped us arrange transport. The apartment itself was beautiful and very comfortable. It was fully equipped and exactly as described. We loved our experience and would love to return to for a longer stay in the future!

Stayed here with my husband and our 3 kids, we had plenty of room to spread out. Very charming old building with close proximity to restaurants, sites, shopping and river views. Loved our stay here, and the property manager was always quick to respond to questions/messages!!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was located on a relatively calm side street, but close to everything. It was even better than pictured. Luisa was an amazing host. So friendly, kind, and helpful. We had a small plumbing issue arise during our stay (outside of the host’s control), and Luisa responded immediately and got it fixed with no impact on our enjoyment of the apartment. Luisa went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay — and we did! We highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Porto!

The property is well located in the old quarter. Our host was very helpful when we had a problem with the washing machine. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Porto.

Luisa made our experience of the Sao Miguel Apartments extremely comfortable. She pointed us in the direction of restaurants and shops and helped us find our way through the maze of up and down streets and alleyways. She showed us how the apartment worked and was always available with help, whether onsite or by phone. She also has a great sense of humor, extremely important for confused travelers. Loved staying there.

We had a wonderful time staying at your property, and had everything we could possibly need. The flat was located in a great location and was clean and comfortable. Both Ligia and Luisa were wonderful hosts as they were friendly and helpful. When my child came down with a fever, Luisa went out of her way to purchase medicine and delivered it to the apartment. Her kindness was certainly appreciated and will not be forgotten. Best wishes to you both in the future!

While the space was well-appointed and the location is in many ways ideal, the best part of renting this property is the hosts. Luisa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. It's clear that she is passionate about what she does and is committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Location is great. Checkin was easy with Luisa being present at the apartment. Luisa was very warm and welcoming and even played with our 3 year old son. She had a basket of toys for him. My son enjoyed it so much that everywhere we traveled during the rest of the trip, he asked if we are going to Luisa's apartment :)

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location could not have been better - close to everything and in the middle of the action yet on a quiet, low traffic street. Luisa was a fabulous host - always available, very accommodating and provided great suggestions for activities and restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and we slept very well with a fresh breeze coming in through the open windows. Lovely view of the clay roofs towards the Duoro river. Highly recommend!

A beautiful well kept done flat in the hart of Porto. Walkable to everything. My wife and 3 kids had a beautiful time.

We were a family of five traveling through Portugal and staying at various VRBO spots. The location is fantastic and the apartment was nice and clean. Our only issue was that the apartment was not ready until after 6pm several hours after the stated check-in time. As you can imagine with a traveling family this can be difficult! They also tried to shuttle us out right at noon which didn't seem right given the delay in the check-in.

We had a fabulous time in Porto. This apartment in an historic building is updated and beautifully decorated. Excellent shower, kitchen, good sized living area with television and comfortable bedrooms. We hit a hot week for early June...no AC so the fan was useful. Luisa was so sweet- helped us lug our bags upstairs- and gave us many tips on the neighborhood, restaurants and sights. She stored our bags in her office while the apartment was being cleaned which was appreciated. Our only regret was not staying longer! Obrigada!

The apartment was very clean. Love the way it was decorated. Location was excellent, within walking distance to everything. The streets of Porto are lovely. One of my favorite all time vacation spots. Ligia was very helpful. provided us with restaurant recommendations. was able to sell us tickets for a river cruise and port cellar tour. Highly recommend.

This property is a hidden gem. Luisa was such a gracious host, striking a wonderful balance between professionalism and authentic interaction. We were able to stay only 1 night and left wishing we'd had more time there, so we will be back for a longer stay as soon as possible. if you are looking for high quality to value lodging with character and charm in the Porto area, you cannot go wrong with this propety.
