Kaitlin is a very kind host, Thank you Kaitlin!! The room was plenty for us. The location is great! Be sure to have breakfast at the breakfast cottage, you will not regret it! Easy commute to the very nearby beach! Melissa’s for ice-cream was a delicious treat, its located right before the beach! Beach chairs/umbrella and towels are provided, that was very nice to have to take to the beach with us!

First I have to start with how quickly we booked this and why. My husband and I were going through some personal challenges so I jumped on here to find a get-away. I scrolled down and stopped at this house because it was purple! I couldn't believe there was a purple house I could go to. It was the third one as I looked. I booked it with my eyes closed and didn't read the reviews. Later when I had time, knowing everyone gets good and bad reviews regardless - I e-mailed the property owner. She wrote back quickly and when she explained things to me, I thought - ok that person clearly didn't read the description of the house because it is SO crystal clear on what to expect. Then I called the day before to see if she could put up a Happy Birthday balloon because I was surprising him. She bought 3! So cool and we LOVED every second there. I have never walked away with a new friend from any of my rentals. She was so stellar that I can call her a friend now. She has the most adorable kids which made me smile because we don't have kids and it was so sweet to see their love for their mommy. Also, WE LOVE dogs and her puppy was the best. That also made my trip awesome because we couldn't bring our doggies. That was perfect because to truly relax and re-charge doggies are a lot - walking, feeding, barking. I didn't write my review right away because I wanted to take time to write extensively about our experience. I already want to GO back and am telling ALL my friends about this perfect purple palace. Everyone can find serenity here which is EXACTLY what we needed. My husband had the BEST 45th birthday ever. He even bought toys for her kiddos. I am glad to have a new friend which was the best thing I walked away with.

The bed was so hard we had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper as my daughter was in town for soccer. I slept on air mattress after buying it also. The nhood is really not appealing as it looks like a meth lab next door. Nice view of Sanford n Son's hoarders and waken up to the hosts kids squealing out side our door ready to greet us. Awful just awful and nowhere near the beach that I would wanna go to. DON'T DO IT as I didn't even get a refund and we stayed there...didn't sleep but stayed there for 8 hours and literally went to hotel. Had to pay for two places becuz the host thinks someone else was gonna book it! There was ONE review!

We were very happy with the accommodations, pool, location was perfect ( very close and easy to get to the beach). Our hostess and family were awesome. Easy to communicate with and so generous. When we arrived we had a little gift with a bottle of wine for our celebration weekend. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you again to the Purple Palace family!
