Bezutiful apartment with nice terrace

We stayed 3 nights and had to kill 4 cockroaches in the bathroom. When I told the host about a possible infestation het said that roaches are normal in madeira...

Very well equiped and clean apartman.

I bit noisy because of the street and the bar nearby.

Very beautiful and clean apartment. It is so well equipped that you could move in straight away. It has simply everything you can think of. The size for 2 people just perfect, really big bathroom with a huge shower (they even have their own toiletries labels, so sweet). You have a little backyard with seating. Nice for breakfasts. The bedroom faces the backyard, so it is nicely quiet. Parking possible anywhere on the street. A tiny local supermarket just across the street, 3 secs :) Close to restaurants, beach.

I wish I could give 10*. But need to deduct one for zero view and another one for a very, very creaky bed (and I was there with my mum! :D). Also pillows too hard.

A few details could be better, no chairs / table to sit outside. Only one bedside table.

Very clean, Smart TV, well stocked kitchen. Central location, good communication with hosts, washing machine, iron. Nice lighting.

The whole building is 5 separate apartments but the listing shows photos for all 5 together. So when booking you should clarify which apartment is which as just because you see a balcony in the photos doesn't mean that the apartment you get will have one.

Bedroom was dark at night. Quiet generally. All clean and modern.

No air conditioning so a bit warm at night.

Everything was great, apartment was very modern and clean. Well equipped, there was even a washing machine and a grill that you can use in the terrace. Parking is only available on street, but we found a spot right outside the door every evening. There is a small grocery store right across the street. Before booking I was worried about the light inside, because the apartment looks a bit dark in pictures, but that's completely not a problem. Apartament is decorated so well that it's dark but very cosy. The district was quiet and we had a good rest there. Nearby there was our most liked beach - Prainha do Caniçal. Sandy, less people than anywhere else (in October), only 5-7mins by car from the apartment.

This is more on the funny side, but there were no coffee mugs, only double-espresso cups. But I bought mugs in a small shop right across the street in case you want to have a big cup of coffee :)

We loved the location and it was peaceful despite being quite close to the airport. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening and having grocery and bakery shops across the road. Everything was immaculate and stylish with a great shower.

A small niggle but we would have a liked a couple of bigger mugs for tea/coffee drinks. The glass ones provided were very small & difficult to hold.

Easy check in and comfortable stay at the White Whale house. The flat had everything we needed and it was very clean. Washing machine had a 15 minute cycle which was very useful. Lots of windows give it a bright and airy feel. The patio outside is also a nice benefit.

The flat is located across the street from a fruit stand which is convenient but a bit noisy at times due to trucks delivering at early hours. Also the road noise is loud at times.

Seriously it is a great place right at the center of this little village!

Very nicely renovated and clean appartment. Cosy terrace and the appartment was generally well equipped.

No parking space closeby so we had to park at the shore. The bed was quite small for two persons.

Very modern with all the necessary appliances and extras.

Everything was clean and super cozy. Loved this apartment! Host allowed us to leave belongings in the apartment earlier than check-in time, it was really nice.

House is located in a quite busy street and sometimes it was difficult to find a parking space for the car.

Perfect location in a quite fishing village. The apartment is really nice and fully furnished, ideal for two adults and twi kids. Self check in really smooth.
