I cannot speak highly enough about our stay at the Regency Salgados. We went in early January and found our stay to be the most relaxing holiday in ages. The staff (especially Luciana) could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The Hotel was modern, clean and close to the beach and local restaurants, the spa and outdoor pool facilitates were excellent also. The breakfast was amazing and the Hotels Ivy restaurant was exceptional.

The hotel is in the outskirts of Albufeira town centre but this was what we were after, the Old town is easily reachable by a 10min bus or Uber which were frequently available and affordable.

A insonorização do quarto é excelente, o tamanho do quarto e wc são brutais! Quero voltar quando a temperatura for mais convidativa para usufruir das comodidades exteriores. Muito bom pequeno-almoço, staff super simpático e prestável.

Sehr gutes vielseitiges Frühstück. Hotel liegt in einer eher ruhigen nicht so touristischen Gegend. Trotzdem gibt es mehrere gute Lokale in der Nähe. Reservierung ist überall empfohlen, um sicher einen Platz zu bekommen.

Bel hôtel au calme sans vue sur la mer.. 10 min à pied de la plage. Idéal pour découvrir la région. Belle piscine. Restaurant sur place. Personnel souriant et attentionné.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal dieses Jahr in dem Hotel, wurden an der Rezeption sehr freundlich empfangen und haben sogar ein Roomupgrade bekommen. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und modern. Immer wieder gab es Kleinigkeiten, wie Wein oder Macarons ins Zimmer. Diesmal haben wir uns auch den kleinen aber feinen Fitnessraum angeschaut - dieser reicht völlig aus um sich im Urlaub etwas fit zu halten. Aufgrund von Saisonende wurde die Poolbar während unseres Aufenthalts leider geschlossen, trotzdem hatten wir die Möglichkeit Food & Drinks an der Bar innen zu bestellen und wurden trotzdem am Pool bedient. Auch das Frühstück war gut, viel Auswahl, für jeden etwas dabei. Lediglich etwas Lachs oder mehr Wurstvariationen wären wünschenswert. Der naheliegende Strand (etwa 600m entfernt) war sauber und weitläufig.

Man muss beachten, dass das Hotel in einer ruhigen Lage liegt - mit einem Mietwagen war es für uns aber kein Problem. Das WLAN hat manchmal nicht richtig funktioniert, vor allem am Pool. Wir hatten eine zwar moderne, aber leider eher weniger nützliche Badezimmertür - diese war ziemlich schwer zu öffnen.

Excellent quality hotel with lovely rooms and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool area was lovely although the pool is not that warm (I don't think it is heated). We liked the 'food caravan' next to the pool providing beer and good quality food at slightly elevated prices. Liked that I could receive a few English news channels and some lovely restaurants 10 or 15 minutes walk away. Reception staff are welcoming and helpful.

Get an ice machine that hotel guests can use whenever they want! Didn't appreciate being told at reception to go to the food caravan next to the pool to get ice, when there is a bar (albeit closed) 10 metres away. Breakfast was ok, but same thing every day got a bit boring after a while.

Hotel was really beautiful, great pool and food truck. Safe parking. Beds were okay, not the best but definitely okay :)

Room was a little bit outdated, for example the bathroom door was a little broken, moved only with force and made loud squeaky noises. Then the toilet button was literally almost falling off, only one of the two buttons worked.

Das Bad war klein mit schwer zu öffnender Schiebetür. Das Zimmer war schlicht eingerichtet. Tagsüber laute Musik vom Pool besonders schlimm war der Stehgeiger.

Das Hotel ist klasse und noch ziemlich neu. Toller Pool und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Der Weg zum schönen Strand ist relativ kurz.

Rund ums Hotel ist es sehr ruhig. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants, aber wer abends mal bummeln möchte, muss in die umliegenden Orte fahren.

The pool, the room, the buffet breakfast, walking distance to a beautiful clean beach, the friendly staff, everything was lovely and relaxing. We even attended a free yoga class by the pool.

It is in a very quiet location, which suited us but might not suit everyone, the nearest town is a 10 min drive, but was easy to get to by Volt or Uber if you don’t hire a car.

The hotel has nice pool and view, very comfortable, clean and new. The stuff is very friendly.

The pool, the staff is super welcoming, beds are very comfortable, the variety of the breakfast, the food truck by the pool.

We felt a little bit of a decrease in the quality of the service for the price payed. Nothing too big, but small details that could have easily been solved by ensuring investment in training the staff a little bit better (e.g. incomplete informations provided, ringing the door with the do not disturb sign outside, etc). They also took way too long in cleaning the rooms (by 5-6pm sometimes) - which being a beach hotel makes absolutely no sense.

The place was modern,well airconditioned and breakfast was quite good.

It was hard to have our room serviced intially and you have to travel a little to get to any decent eating places.

Breakfast has a great selection of fresh food, cereals and cooked options.

Very happy with everything. No complaints. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

The hotel is awesome, has a great pool and is super close to the beach. The staff were amazing.

They could work on their food - the breakfast is good but has room for improvement and the snack bar at the pool was really meh (we only ate there once and had the wraps).

Pool area was great. But the staff serving food and drinks were quite rude. Did not speak great English and would laugh when trying to order something. Not impressed and quite unprofessional. Everything else was stunning. Shame some staff let the hotel down.

we liked that it was clean and not in the town centre but accessible to local shops and about 15 minutes taxi ride from main towns and shopping centres

it had a pretence of being amazing, a lot of effort was put into the decor and making everything look like it worked, for example, a coffee maker in the room but it didn’t work,the weighing in the room also didn’t work ,asked for milk to be able to make a coffee via the kettle 5 days later I never got it, the coffee machines that are in service during breakfast the curtain off during the day so you have to pay during the day if you want a coffee this seemed strange to me, breakfast alot of items each day where undercooked,and no food served at pool bar but pictures show that there is

New and modern facilities. Very nice and efficient staff. Complete breakfast with plenty of space. Room was fully equipped, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, A/C working perfectly. Very nice pool area with bar service and plenty of space.

Pool area was poorly maintained there was no cleaning around the pool area for the whole week we were there, no evidence of the poo water being tested, dirty tissue lying around and rubbish in the foot bath. Pool bar food and drinks overpriced and poor quality.

The staff was exceptional, the front desk receptionist was so friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was very good. The bartender Joao was so professional.
