We had a great family vacation at Amelia. The condo is in a great location, large and very comfortable. It had everything you need for a week at the beach.

What a special time with family at this beautiful and thoughtfully designed condo! The balcony views of the beach are so peaceful looking out over the well manicured landscape and dunes while the layout gives plenty of space for family and/or friends to be together! The owner gives accurate and detailed description of what is included when staying at Shipwatch. The owner's explanation answered all our questions about staying in a new place (Amelia Island) and affirmed our choice of staying at this condo and location! We enjoyed the location of a 10-15 minute walk to many of the Omni activities and restaurants while having more privacy at the Shipwatch pool and beach area. This condo provides many beach chairs and towels and there is also additional chair/umbrella rentals if needed. There are bikes to rent nearby and the Par 3, 10 hole golf course is perfect for family fun! The condo provided supplies if you want to use the grilling area located near the pool. This property is so clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this condo for your Amelia Island vacation and would definitely rent again!

This is the second time we have stayed at one of the condos at Shipwatch. This condo was clean, spacious, and perfect for our needs. The location can't be beat. Owner communication was fantastic. We will come back!

We loved this property! The access to the beach and pool were perfect! The unit was beautiful and well stocked. Great beach chairs and beach towels and the basics you need in the kitchen. We would love to come back!

Shipwatch is our groups’ favorite beach spot. The pool is fabulous and the beach is awesome. This condo is clean and tidy. But it’s not plush. Furnishings feel like a hotel, not a home.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Three generations of family with plenty of room and a thoughtful layout to stay comfortably. We enjoyed the pool. The weather was very windy during our week but the beach was beautiful. Michelle was extremely responsive… even ordering us a cooler to use for the beach and pool that arrived the following day. The property was clean, well appointed, and so beautiful. We hope to return!

The condo was a very nice place to stay. Everything was clean and neat. Will stay there again.

It was the perfect vacation rental for our family. The condo was very large and well equipped. It had a pack 'n play and booster seat for our 1 year old, and plenty of beach chairs and toys. The pool is right outside the condo and the beach was only short walk across the lawn and dunes. We definitely hope to return soon.

My family goes to Amelia Island annually and have stayed in the same building for years. It's older but this unit has been nicely remodeled with large kitchen and sitting area. It's new and clean. The beach and pool are easily accessible making it ideal. We had an issue with an inoperable dryer, but our host was very responsive and did her best. My only suggestion to the owners would be to upgrade the bedding. All of our guests were uncomfortable on very old beds. For a premium property of this nature, it makes all the difference. Otherwise, it's a great place and I'd recommend it.

We loved our stay at Michelle's condo and wish we could've stayed longer! The view was amazing, the space was perfect for our family, and the pool was relaxing! We will definitely stay again.

We've stayed at the Amelia Island Plantation resort for 20 years and this was the best condo we've rented. The buildings are older and many condos haven't been updated but this one was remodeled. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The view isn't as good as some other condos but you can still see the ocean. Very nice of the owner to supply beach towels and plenty of chairs. The kitchen table seating cushions and chairs should be cleaned or replaced but that was the only thing we noticed. We would definitely rent here again!

The location of this rental is pristine. Nestled inside the Omni plantation property, with a gorgeous view of the beach, and an excellent location with a beautiful pool and bbq area in front of the beach. The unit itself is also perfectly maintained with all amenities that you would need. It is gorgeous and clean. I love a clean, bright open kitchen with a view of the beach, and the kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to prepare meals. The owner was very communicative. The entry at the gate and to the unit was a breeze. The closets in the spare bedrooms were locked, I assume for storing the owners personal belongings, which is completely understandable. May I suggest having a little hanging rack available in each bedroom so that the guests could have somewhere to hang up nice clothes if they wish. Otherwise, the accommodations were just perfect. I do have two criticisms which were more administrative. I did not like being forced to take insurance or give a substantial refundable deposit. I take insurance if I’m traveling with a large group or with small children, but this time it was just my family and it wasn’t necessary and I didn’t like having to pay that large amount extra upfront. I also paid a lot of fees for a 2 night stay through VRBO including a substantial cleaning fee so when it instructed us to wash the towels, run the dishwasher and strip the beds I didn’t appreciate that. I am a very respectful renter and probably would’ve done all those things anyway, but I didn’t like feeling obligated to do all of those things before a 10 AM check out in order to get my deposit back Overall, I love this property and I will return to it because it was beautiful and relaxing.

I had a wonderful time at Amelia Island, and a comfortable stay at this condo. It had an easy walk to the beach, and the beach itself felt so private. The condo was lovely and spacious.

Such a great spot with a beautiful view! Was the perfect family friendly location for our small children.

This is our first time going to Amelia Island and 1st time staying at this property. The place is very clean and would totally stay here again and recommand to friends and family,

The condo was very spacious, seemed even larger than the pictures showed. We had my husband and I, along with our son, his wife and grandkids age 2 & 4. The condo was clean and nicely renovated. The master bed was very comfortable, an issue we have struggled with in other rentals. We had an issue with the blender the first morning and by evening a new one was delivered to our door! Greatly appreciated as we use one everyday. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys. We had some great family time and made sweet memories - Thank you!

We were a group of six (3 couples) from Savannah looking for a getaway weekend not too far away. Everyone loved the condo. Very well appointed and so nice not to have to fight over bedrooms each had a king or queen. Loved the porch looking out to the Atlantic with the sound of the surf. Our only glitch was lack of wifi and tv: there was an Xfinity issue while we were there. Not a big deal for our group but for others who knows. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed Amelia Island and hope to do it again sometime in the future.

We had a girls trip and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was amazing and definitely want to come back!

We had a great time on Amelia Island. We stayed because my husband had a conference at a nearby hotel and we needed a place with a bit more space. This was perfect and beautiful. It was fully stocked with chairs and toys for the beach. My kids loved playing in the sand, looking for shells and of course splashing in the ocean. There is also access to a spacious pool. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals and even had a high chair for the baby. We went to downtown Fernandina one night and had a nice dinner with a view to the St Johns river. All the family had a great time. It can get a bit hot in the rooms but they did have some box fans. I also have a hard time sleeping if I’m not at home but the mattress in the master was amazing. No complaints there. I would not hesitate to return. Thank you.

Loved the property very convenient as far as beach location and the condo is nicely decorated and worked great for our family of 7. The restaurants and town were all close by. Only thing that could be improved was cleaning crew arriving right at 10 and coming in while we were gathering our belongings to head out.

We have been going to Amelia Island for 30+ years and this condo is one of the nicest we have stayed at. We will definitely try to secure this condo again for future vacations.

Condo was in excellent condition and has great pool and beach access. Golf courses on property were in great shape and convenient.
