Very well-stocked house. Enjoyed the screened porch and kayaks.

A nice cabin on a beautiful lake. We stayed there with kids who very much enjoyed the sandy beach and shallow waters. Perfect, fun and safe for little kids. Cabin is well equipped with kitchen items, grill, linens, soap, etc. The 3 season porch was a life saver from the mosquitos. Allowed us to be outside and enjoy the view. Kayaks were fun to just get on the lake and paddle along the beach. Recommend getting your own water toys. Luckily we packed some. Internet can be slow so plan ahead if you have a need to be online or stream movies for the kids on a rainy day. Neighbors are very friendly and awesome. Overall, great vacation and would love to go back again.

What a lovely and up-to-date cabin. Very clean, wonderful beach, porch, and deck. So many games and water toys too! We loved the view and kayaking. Everything was very neat and organized. Would definitely stay again.

This home worked very well for our young family getaway. Accessories for the children were available and the beach/water was shallow which made it easy for the children to play in and around the water.

Absolutely amazing. Would stay here again hands down! We saw 2 families of geese and 2 bald eagles right off the deck! Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. I wish 4.75 was an option for overall rating, the reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is only because a set of stairs down to the lake would really be ideal.. it’s quite the hill when carrying chairs up and down with the sand. Other than that 5 out of 5!! Thank you so much!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as we are long distance and wanted a nice place to get away. Great views, the house had everything we needed and the kyaks were an added bonus we were not expecting. Will return again!

Very clean, liked the property

We loved our weekend here! The view was absolutely incredible, and the house was perfect. There are so many places to sot and enjoy the scenery. We hope to return!

I would love to thank the owner for the opportunity to stay at there home. Looking forward to staying there again next year. The scenic view and sound of the waves coming into shore is what makes vacations like ours awesome.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. The house is organized and very clean. It is stocked with everything you could ever need (cooking supplies, towels, games). We both loved to sit out on the dock, listen to the lapping water, and watch the sunset. I did not notice any weeds in the lake and the sandy beach is nicely kept making it a great swimming spot. Even though the neighbors were home during our stay, the property still felt private. We had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

A sandy beach and shallow water near shore were great for swimming and playing with our small children. The home was nicely equipped for guests, with many amenities for relaxing and enjoying the water. Our midweek visit was quiet, and sheltering trees lined most of the property for a nice private stay. We stayed in and made use of the clean kitchen and laundry facilities.

This was a great place to stay before the older kids went back to school. We had an amazing time and the hosts were great.

While the property itself was nice, I was disappointed when I walked in to find the house was not cleaned. It said "professionally cleaned". The house obviously was not professionally cleaned, as I had to scrub down the counter tops, sweep the floors, clean the fridge, clean the shower and the toilets. There was dog hair, human hair everywhere. The home is obviously used by the family, which is completely fine. Nothing wrong witht that, however that needs to be relied more clear in the listing. The entire refrigerator door was full of used condiments and the showers had hygiene products, which again is fine if this is a family cabin they are renting out to supplement income, but it just needs to be stated more clear (possibly it was and for some reason I didn't catch it). The house was beautiful, loved the kitchen and the deck was a dream. The table outside was broken, so didn't feel comfortable using it without a tabletop. It was just the cleanliness that could be improved in the future. Easy to find. TV's in the bedrooms was a plus. Internet and satellite TV which is a plus as well. I liked having a half bath on the main floor which was very convenient. Home was very nice. The only thing I would ask in the future is if the home is not professionally cleaned, it shouldn't be advertised as such. I do appreciate you sharing your home. Families would love staying here with the sandy beach. Blessings.

Beautiful sandy beach with shallow water was perfect for three year old grandkids. The screened porch with propane fire pit was great for chatting and playing games. The living/dining area was spacious, and the kitchen was well appointed, with everything you would want for making meals. There was a small problem with the upstairs toilet, and the owners had it taken care of within hours. Overall, we would definitely rent again!

This is a great place to experience a beach vacation without having to get on an airplane! We had a great time swimming, kayaking, catching minnows and watching the baby ducks. The screened in porch was fabulous! Thank you for everything - we really enjoyed our time!

Clearly the owners must also visit this place because it is literally stocked with everything we could have needed. We cooked our Thanksgiving meal here and had everything we could need to cook it. We would definitely come back.

Craig and Sandy are wonderful to work with and the Sugar Sand House is just what we needed. All the amenities you could want and everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. The property is spectacular and the sunset views of the lake are picturesque. We will definitely stay here again!

Place was wonderful! Only suggestion would be to allow for storage for food that the guests bring in.

This property has great views of the lake. The house seems to be very new and is in perfect shape inside and out. We had access to everything we could think of. The owners are very generous and welcoming. The beach has great sand and swimming would be ideal for small kids since the lake is knee deep 40 feet out and you could wade forever. I would stay again.

Nice house. Beautiful Lake!

My wife and I stayed here with our son, daughter, and son-in-law. There was plenty of space for us all to sleep. The house was stocked with all the things we could need. The air conditioning was very nice on the hot days. We also loved the outdoor screened in space to listen to the waves without worrying about bugs. The views are very private and was nice to see out the great big windows. We would stay here again in the spring or fall and hopefully have better luck fishing at that time. Overall it was a great place to spend the week together. Communication with the hosts was also great. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

The property is great. All the amenities you need for a relaxing, yet fun vacation.

The home was very well stocked and i can’t think of one thing it didn’t have that we needed. The beach area was very nice and we enjoyed some swim time. Overall the house was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be maybe a new mattress in the single bed, bedroom. We had one mishap and the owner was very understanding and worked with us on getting the problem taken care of. I would stay again, just not let my significant other bring his boat or back it up 😂

Good stay on the property

Property is right on lake with a nice beach for kids. The view from the living room is great as well. We enjoyed our stay at the place with 2 little kids who had good time on the lake. There are lots of board games, kayak, etc. available for use. Internet quality is not great but still it works, deck is nice as well. There is a decent grocery store available inside gas station nearby which is convenient.
