I was in Denver for a friend's wedding at the Botanic Gardens so I wanted to be close to that area (vs. downtown ballparks, etc). It was the perfect location! Everything was as described and Sara was a perfect host! Plenty of space. It is not just a room but truly a little apartment. There is a full kitchen if you want to cook. Keep in mind that it is a basement unit so it doesn't have view windows or a ton of sunlight (transom windows) but there is a nice yard with a gazebo sitting area and the unit is super cozy and quiet. It is walking distance to "Novo Coffee" on 6th and further down is "Pho on 6th" (amazing!). I loved all the brick Craftsman-style homes in the neighborhood. Cheesman Park and the Botanic Gardens are very close by. It is a great place for a walk and Uber was easy to take me everywhere else I needed to go! I will be back! 5 Stars! 10/10! This is a quiet, spacious apartment. King-size bed had a firm but very comfortable mattress. Large walk-in closet. Bathroom has a nice walk-in shower. There is a gravel parking slot next to the owner’s garage if you bring a car. Punching in the code to unlock the door was a piece of cake. Owner has a little yappy dog who goes homicidal when it hears you come in the door and down the stairs, but it’s on the other side of a door, and it can’t get at you and rip you limb from limb. And it quiets down as soon as you get downstairs. After that you don’t hear anything but the footsteps of the owner upstairs, but they’re faint and never a problem.

This unit shows as it has 2 bedrooms. It does not. It is 1 bedroom with an extremely uncomfortable bed, and a couch mattress that has blood/vomit stains on it. This unit did not smell clean, none of the linens smelled clean, there’s no small heater like they say. This host tried to say we smoked inside the unit when nobody did. We made sure to smoke outside in our vehicle due to it not being smoke friendly. This host was extremely inconsiderate of our stay. She had a party/get together with some of her friends on our first night. She had a baby and a dog or two (not sure) and didn’t even consider that people were downstairs trying to sleep after a 13 hour drive from Dallas. We paid to stay there, we should have had our space respected as well. The unit was supposed to be a quick and easy stay, and it was just extremely uncomfortable the entire time. They don’t even have blankets for their guests. Sara did not care that she had us staying downstairs, she continued to do life without hesitation. You shouldn’t be a host if you don’t know how to. Especially with it not being clean, that’s disgusting. It smelled like old rags.

My son and I booked this as a home base for our first time trip in Denver. The location was easy to access and very safe. We had everything we needed!!

The place was very nice but it is listed as 2 bedrooms, and for the life of me, I only discovered one bedroom. Was I missing something? We had planned for two bedrooms but in the end, I had come alone so it was ok, but I searched for only two bedrooms and found only one.

Nice cozy.. very clean. Perfect little kitchen set up. Enjoyed playing games at the table and loved the king size bed… looking forward to staying again.

Great part of Denver and everything you’d need for a week or weekend getaway.

We're love staying in this neighborhood when we come to town. Just a few minutes walk to Cheeseman Park, lots of restaurants, botanical gardens, etc. Literally cannot best the location. The property itself was good, but not great. Mostly carpet that really needs cleaning, kind of a dark basement. We've stayed in other basements like this and they were brighter. Ceilings are low as expected, but in a few spots require most people to duck or you will knock your head. A couple of little things that would be easy to fix like missing outlet covers. Good overall. The listing says 2 bedrooms but it's definitely a one bedroom with a small sleeper sofa in the living room. We didn't need to park a car, but the spot that is mentioned was taken by another vehicle. The host is in the main house and generally the noise wasn't bad. One morning we were awoken by loud noises, maybe and exercise bike or something but other than that not too bad. Sara is super responsive. The Internet didn't work at the beginning of the stay, so I messaged her and it was fixed really quickly. Great host! We'd stay again for the location, but this specific place would be our backup location if our other favorite places were taken.

My husband and I recently stayed here. This is a perfect location if you want to stay in the Cherry Creek neighborhood. It's walkable to everything. We did have some internet connectivity issues but the host worked to get them resolved.

Property was nice, close to Cherry Creek so great location. Pictures of unit were accurate and was a nicely done and decorated unit .HOWEVER could not stay our 2nd night. The noise from the upper floor was unacceptable. We were awoken around 3am by loud voices, dropping of items on the floor , etc. which seemed to be right above the bedroom. The next afternoon while trying to nap since we had plans with friends for the evening, the noise again plus a barking dog we decided to leave and found a hotel room. We texted and tried to call Sara but never got a reply.

They have done a very nice job of making a basement apartment feel comfortable. If you plan to hang out at the property all day, maybe not your best bet, just due to the fact it has no natural light. As a base to explore cherry creek and denver, it is fantastic, very centrally located, walking to tons of shops and restaurants. If you have a lot of noise sensitivity, you will probably not be happy. It isn’t terrible, but there is definitely some noise impact.

Love the location in great neighborhood. The dog’s bark scared me when I opened the door to entrance every time. Close to hospital which was great for spouse having surgery. Great to have a kitchen.

Check in was very easy. Found 2 loads of dirty laundry..sheets /towels on closet floor. Was given 2bath towels and 1 hand towel for 3 night stay. (They did not smell fresh.) Beautiful neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay at this cute and cozy flat. The neighborhood is a lot of fun to explore and has great restaurants. The owner was easy to communicate with before and during the vist. We are grateful for an easy and wonderful stay.

It was seamless. Check in, check out no issue. The space was immaculate. Very comfortable, everything I needed was there. Great neighborhood! Shopping & restaurants were very convenient. I highly recommend Hillstone for an excellent meal in a great atmosphere. It is only a couple of blocks away. Walkable. Say hello to Bartender Mike T. Loved the stay.

Easy process and accomodating

If you are over 6ft you might have a problem. The location is great a very nice parking space. I would recommend if you want a very convenient place within walking distance to Cherry Creek.

My fiancee and I really enjoyed staying here. It's located in the beautiful, trendy Cherry Creek neighborhood and was minutes from many great restaurants and points of interest in Denver. The apartment itself is quiet and well-appointed. I loved the big, comfortable king-sized bed. Also, as you can tell from the photos, there aren't many windows in this space. This has the effect of making the apartment pitch black at night when the lights are turned off, which is super beneficial for healthy sleep. If you are a person who values healthy, restful sleep, this place is for you. In addition, Sara provides lots of smart, thoughtful amenties for her guests, including a soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower; a bathroom scale; a kitchen loaded with utensils, plates, and cookware; a mac thunderbolt cable plugged into the TV, so you can plug your laptop in; a very convenient reserved parking spot; and more! Sara herself was very responsive and helpful. She really went the extra mile for us! I highly recommend this VRBO and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We just spent six nights in a beautiful basement apartment in a lovely Denver neighborhood. We highly recommend this property.

The place is great for a long weekend in Denver. We really only slept at the property; since our son lives only 10 minutes away; we shared all meals with him. We did have a light breakfast outside; nicely landscape back yard (gave me ideas for mine). The property is located in the lower level; that helped at night with the temperature being mid 90's during the day. There was no air condition and no fan was offered. While the host was great at communication, there were stains on the pullout mattress, dirt on the floor and stained bedding. We had a slight electrical issue with the lights and while the dog barked a lot the first night, the host worked to keep the dog quieter after that. She was lovely, but it just wasn't up to my standards with the bedding and carpet stains.

The owner truly lives upstairs with son and dog. You can heat movement throughout the day. The space is extremely dark with minimal natural light since in a basement. We also had trouble using the stove without setting off the fire alarm. Only "air" is a small fan provided by owner or the option to open 1 window in bedroom. Also, note that if taller than 6ft you will need to duck to move throughout the space. We checked out 1 day in to our 4 night stay due to the overall uncomfortable feeling of shared space.
