The views are so incredible! From the kitchen, the living room which has swivel chairs so you can spin around and not miss a thing, and also from the nice sized deck where we spent most of our time relaxing and whale watching. The grounds are well manicured with beautiful and lush tropical foliage. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Having a private beach for the residents is nice so it wasn’t overcrowded, we saw a large turtle.. There was a strong undertow so be careful with kids. The condo is set up nicely to enjoy the beach, two large beach umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, and ice chest. Nice large kitchen and bathroom. The location is close to lots of restaurants and a short drive to downtown Lahaina where boating activities take off from. Mike, the host, wants his guests to have fun and enjoy the area and will help guide you to different activities. When we come back we would definitely try and stay in this condo again!

We really enjoyed staying at this condo for 4 weeks. It is a very comfortable and friendly place, and the views are unbelievably wonderful.

Excellent condition, location, amenities, and views!

What a perfect place to enjoy my first time in Maui. From walking in the front door and seeing the ocean and swaying palm trees, to the comfortable furnishings and immaculate cleanliness of the entire condo. The uncrowded beach was an easy walk, and the pools were so inviting. The property felt extrememly safe. Perfect!

We loved this property, from the spaciousness, to the cheerful interior colors, the wonderful kitchen and the exquisite views, the quiet area and the proximity to the beach - it was all perfect. Renting here was fabulous. We’re ready to come back!

Property was clean, quiet, and provided great access to Kapalua bay, Kaanapali, and Lahaina. Mike the owner was very responsive to messages and helpful. Great place to stay if you want a little more quiet that Kaanapali but the same area. Nice, less used beaches around as well.

This was an excellent spot to spend 2-weeks. A lovely Kapalua Bay Villa property - a place that we'll plan to stay again. Having owned a Bay Villa for 40 plus years, we are picky with where we stay there now that we've sold our unit. This unit gets high marks in all categories.

Overall this was a great property to stay at for part of our Hawaiian honeymoon! Check in was simple with codes provided an adequate amount of time on advance.. The villa was well maintained, as well as the property grounds and amenity areas. The 3 pools were all amazing and deep for great swimming (8ft). We never had an issue with parking and were able to park right outside the villa. The second story made it so the ramp went right to the front door for easy access, so no stairs to haul luggage up or down. The bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen was fantastic with new appliances. Overall we still rate this 5 stars, but there were a few minor things to be aware of. The washer and dryer was FANTASTIC to have, but they are very small. We were initially planning to do 2 or 3 loads during our stay but ended up having to make that 6-8 loads. The ceiling fan in the living room should have 3 speeds but appeared to be broken or malfunctioning and only ever operated on a low speed, which was a bummer for me personally. The sliding door to the patio overlooking the water was not staying on its track or something like that so it was hard to open and close. There are only 2 chairs (hightop) with the table on that patio, but there are 2 more chairs on the patio off the bedroom you could potentially bring around if you are having more than 2 people stay at this villa. Lastly, probably our only true potential knock, is that pest people came while we were out. We had no idea anyone would come in during our stay as our things were spread out around the villa. It was a little bit of an uneasy feeling since we didn't know that was a possibility and we would recommend some sort of communication structure to where guests are at least notified of this ahead of time. All that said, really enjoyed our stay and still rate this 5 stars. Thank you to the hosts, specifically Mike who communicated with us for our stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this property. It was clean and had everything we needed in a great location. Will definitely stay again if we return to Maui.

My wife and I were ecstatic with the view and the comfortable living area that provided us with a relaxing vacation. Also, that pool was very well kept, warm and water crystal clear to swim We plan to rent this property again. I would recommend all my family and friends to vacation at this property. Chet & El

What can you say? Right next to the pool and steps away from Oneloa Beach. Rooms were clean and all amenities provided. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Maui. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Excellent views, accommodation and experience

Great location to explore the NW part of Maui. The views from the condo were amazing! This was our 5th trip to Maui and second time staying in Kapalua. Last time we stayed in Kapalua it was winter and Honolua was more for surfing. We wanted to snorkel Honolua Bay and other NW areas. The water was so clear and calm in Honolua Bay even though the NW can be windy. There is a resort shuttle for the Kapalua area but we mostly drove to nearby beaches and restaurants in the area. The unit had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for use at the beach which is always an added bonus. In my many trips to Hawaii this condo/property was one of the nicest places our family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) has stayed. Would definitely return!

Thank you for our wonderful stay at the Kapula Villas. The condo was perfect for us. The views were breath taking and we spent many hours looking at the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of the condo. Easy check in and check out.

Gorgeous views, place is very nice. Had some issues with the fridge before we arrived which they gave us a replacement fridge in the meantime. They handled the situation well and professionally. Would definitely stay here again.

Michael was very responsive and checked in on us via VRBO messaging. The condo was clean and as described. The views are fantastic, and the location is a short walk from one of the beautiful hikes of the island.

The property is clean and well-appointed, especially in the kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. The location is magic for the ocean view on the patio, the short walk to amazing beaches, dining, and the general relaxed Kapalua area.

The views from this unit are amazing! Like 120 degree view! We were mesmerized by watching the whales all day!

We had never stayed at Kapalua Bay but had heard great things about the property in general. We picked a great spot and great condo to rent! The view here was spectacular! We were here end of February and the whales were in full force! Oh my gosh, we loved waking up to the wonderful view out over the water. It's an easy walk down to the ocean edge for some rock hopping, or over to the nearby beaches for some sand and water. There are a number of great restaurants nearby (Sushi place was especially good!). The owner Mike was super helpful. The instructions on getting to the location were spot on and we had no trouble at all. Check-in and Check-out were super easy. PS: Two recliners for watching the whales for the win!

Our 4 day stay in Kapalua Bay has been absolutely perfect!. It has been a non-stop whale of a show From the moment we stepped out onto the lanai. Coffee in the morning with the humpback whales spouting and breaching just outside the bay and the show coninued through the day into the evening, every day. Mike and Nicole’s place is setup perfectly for a couple and within a few easy steps of the beach. While the water wasn’t conducive to snorkeling this trip, they supply a body board and flippers in the condo to enjoy the waves that were perfect for boarding. This spot now tops our all-time list of of favorite VRBO stays and we will be back soon.

Very relaxing

We loved watching whales from the patio of the beautiful property. We hope to return and do it again!

Fantastic unit. Spacious, clean and magnificent views. Mike and Nicole were welcoming and responsive hosts. They reached out upon our arrival to ensure we were satisfied. During the stay there was a challenge with the laundry unit; for which they promptly scheduled a repair technician AND provided a goodwill credit. We are big fans of Kapalua, specifically the Bay Villas and would absolutely look for this unit on a return trip.
