House clean Location excellent

No info regarding hot water Only stumbled on it

The host was very unreasonable and created a lot of unnecessary disruption. We had booked the house initially for 3 people, a few days prior to arrival the host asked how many beds to make up. I asked for 4. She then said she we had only paid for 3 people. I explained I didn’t realise it was a per person booking and that the 4th person would only be there for two nights. She initially told me to change the number of guests on booking.com and pay additional money but when I said it was just 2 nights she said I should pay her €75 cash. She then took away the option to change the number of guests on the website so I couldn’t see the “real” price for a 4th person. She was rude about the whole situation and refused to make up the bed until the day that the 4th person arrived which was in the middle of our trip. She wouldn’t come at a time that day that we were there and let herself in to make up the only single bed in the house instead of the double for an adult man to sleep in! There was a lack of towels, none left there for our 4th guest. Her attitude was very petty and difficult throughout and she treated us as if we were trying to scam her over a 4th bed! Not how paying guests should be made to feel. She also wouldn’t send the code for the key when we arrived, instead making us phone her when we got there which is totally unnecessary.

Home from Home is just that. The house was so spacious, modern and immaculately clean it so well equipped. We requested an extra bed and there was absolutely no issues and we still had so much space in our room with a double and a single bed, 3 more double beds up stairs. We were 2 minute drive from a very big shopping centre, from bowling and a soft play centre, 5 min drive from the aqua dome and the town centre. We had a lovely back garden with great garden furniture. Will most definitely look up this property again when we come back to Tralee.
