Close to the airport (easy with bus). Very nice chap, good food, quiet.

Nigel was really friendly and helpful. Much better value than Novahotel and Ibis. Spotlessly clean and freshly decorated.

I forgot to ask where breakfast was located ( I left at 4am). Bus details from the airport would be handy.

I loved the location, near the airport because we had an early morning flight, so we didn’t have to travel far in the taxi.

The rooms were a little small, but the hospitality made up for that. So I didn’t mind the size of the room because the property owners were so fabulous!

I haven't stayed in such a rundown place in a long time and I hope never to experience anything like it in the future Very basic room and a basic breakfast far to expensive for what it is can't understand how it's classed as 3* A 1* rating would be as kind as I would give it

I loved my stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was great and the hotel was well laid out and maintained. I’ll be back next time I’m in Birmingham.

The only thing that could be improved on is that the bed I had was quite hard, it left my back a little sore.

Nigel is an absolute star, This is what staying at a family run hotel is all about, nothing was too much bother and he was happy to advise on local eateries. However the hotels own food choices were good enough for us. Full English Breakfast was quick to appear. Organised taxi to NEC every day for us. Very congenial host at the bar after a long day at Crufts, we put the world to right, lol. Highly Recommend the Tr-Star

Excellent location and a tiny though very comfortable room. Very nice bed.

Room heating turned off overnight in sub-zero outside temperatures. The room was very cold when I checked out at 06:00. Not a good experience for a visitor from Florida!

Home made breakfast, very good quality of food 👌

If I had to say anything it would be more milk in room, but I'm a big coffee drinker.
