The apartment has everything you need for stay in Zandvoort. Good location and community with Peter and Marja.

This is lovely.

Host was super friendly and did everything to help us making our stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment itself is well equipped with towels and kitchen utensils. We loved the presense of the dishwasher and that even some dishwasher tablets were provided, just as pads for the coffeemachine (senseo). The apartment is only a short walk away from the beach and parking space is no problem. Nearby free parking is only a short walk away.

The apartment is described and pictured with a fully equiped kitched, however, the oven is not in working order. As it shows on the pictures that an oven is present,which in combination with the description of a fully equiped kitchen, made us bring some bake off products which we couldnt prepare unfortunately. Not really an issue, but still mentionable is, is that one of the 5 burners of the gas stove is also not working. The clock in the living room is also not working (dead battery) and one of the lightbulbs of the chandelier in the living room was also not working and not replaced during our stay. The heating is controlled by the heating system of the main house above the apartment where the host lives, which you cannot control yourself, you have to text the hosts and ask them to turn up the heating a bit. The bed is very comfy however it consists of two separate matrasses which easily create an opening between them, so its great if you sleep each on your own bed, but if you like to cuddle up it can be a bit annoying. The entrance to the apartment is at the back of the main house and you have to walk through a narrow alley behind the houses. No problem for us but I can imagine that female guests who travel alone might not feel comfortable about it. Although the beach is only a short walk away, the centre of Zandvoort with shops and restaurants is a bit further away and a bycicle or car is recommendable, esspecially if you are using take away service. Finally it should be mentioned that the only way to pay for the accomodation is cash, It is indeed mentioned in the confirmation mail as the host indicated, However we overlooked it and the only cash machines are in the center where the shops are and thus a bit further away.The host didnt make a problem of it that we didnt have the payment ready upon arrival and allowed us to pay the next day. Fine for us, but for larger amounts (longer stays) it might feel uncomfortable to walk the streets with that amount.
