Wonderful remote location, very relaxing. The gite had everything we needed to unwind for a few days.

Just returned from the property after staying there for a wedding close by, had the most incredible stay. The property was exactly as anticipated and more. If your looking for relaxing, beautiful and most importantly peaceful setting this is the one for you, and the stars of an evening are sensational. The owner Vince who also lives on the property behind was great, very helpful with contact numbers for local taxis etc. Also very nice friendly and nice. A great host. The accommodation itself was very spacious FULLY EQUIPPED like home from home. we’re already awaiting for flights to be available to book again for next year, wouldn’t say a car isn’t an absolute necessity but the local village which is beautiful is a 45 minute walk both ways. Or 10-15 euros in a cab. The property is also overlooking a lake, and with only short distance from the accommodation another added bonus for those who absolutely love the outdoors. Definitely would rate this 10-10. Thanks for your hospitality.

Location is great, everything that we were looking for including the weather. The facilities were good and so was the the Wi-Fi. The property was clean and fresh on arrival and care had been taken with Covid cleaning. We would defiantly go again.

Returning home

Very near the lake which is beautiful. Lovely kitchen with everything you'd need. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Comfortable seating. Everything's provided, towels, pool towels (although we didn't need them in late October), cleaning materials etc. We had beautiful weather for late October even though the mornings and evenings were a little chilly and we needed the (electric) heating - a wood burner would be nice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again given the chance.

Sat nav found it a little difficult to find but not insurmountable.

The house was as shown in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Overall a very quiet stay for ten days. The owner lives on the property in a house next door. The nearest village is 10 minutes by car and has all the necessary amenities.

We truly loved how peaceful it is, surrounded by nature. And at night you can look up and see a million stars, since there’s no light pollution!

It’s a little hard to find via Google Maps, we couldn’t find it ourselves. But luckily the landowner came to pick us up next door. Also the sunbeds are a little saggy, but with a cushion it’s comfortable enough!
