Well decorated and super close to one of the most beautiful beaches in England :)

Fab having a full kitchen and full sized bed. Lounge area also a bonus.

well kept, location, lovely decor.

Due to the close proximity to the house, I felt really conscious of disturbing neighbour or the owner with noises from my children.

-View into main property back garden from bedroom - not a significant issue at this time since owners were away whilst we stayed but potential lack of privacy -Toiletries & towels inclusive would have made it perfect as tricky travelling with a new baby (lots to carry already!) -Access to laundry facilities would be helpful for longer stays

Beach, stones throw way , lovely coastal walks, Botany Bay Hotel nearby, lovely to sit and have a coffee , reflect and people watch, quiet and peaceful, Angie the owner on hand . living nearby so no problem with any questions you may have, nothing too much trouble, lovely new kitchen and bathroom, , very enjoyable stay , can't wait to go back !!

Really comfy, clean and quiet. Cosy and relaxing. Right near to the beach and coastal paths. Close to Botany Bay Hotel - which does a great breakfast/has a bar. Is an easy walk away from a supermarket and fish & chip shop. Angie (host) is really easy to communicate with. Well equipped kitchen. Great place to stay.

If travelling by train, strongly recommend you book a taxi in advance. Or you might be in for a long wait.

Lovely location near beach. Accommodation excellent. Very well decorated and furnished in a way that really sets the scene for a seaside holiday. Angie was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time walking between Ramsgate and Westgate. The food places we found were excellent, and the area has lots of decent pubs to choose from too. A car is not needed to get about if your walking is ok, but the roads are also good. There is a Co-op supermarket nearby, which is well stocked. All in all this was a perfect location and holiday.

No issues

The hideaway was lovely, very clean and had everything you needed. The location could not be any better, so close to the beach and even close to go into broad stairs which we did. The host Angie could not be any more friendlier or helpful than she was. Was a shame we was there just 2 nights as would have even loved to spend more time there and even with Angie. We will be booking again! See you again Angie, you’ve done amazing!

Nothing, was perfect!

The Hideaway was just perfect for our long weekend summer stay. The accommodation was wonderful -immaculate and beautifully decorated to suit its sea-side location. The photographs in the ad do not capture the true quaint beauty of the property which feels much like a beach Lodge/ log cabin. Our daughters loved the bunk beds and felt right at home as the house was complete with all the creature comforts. Angie, the owner, was so lovely and kindly made every effort to accommodate our needs. We will absolutely book again and I thoroughly recommend The Hideaway for its relaxing atmosphere and excellent location -we were shocked at just how close we were to the beach!

Gorgeous few days in a charming cottage, very clean and quiet with all the facilities you could need. And only 100 yards to the lovely beach at Botany Bay. The patio area is wonderful, really makes for a holiday feel.

Not a criticism of the property naturally, but it's a fact that Broadstairs town is a fair distance away if you are walking.

The location was very good, very close to the beach, it was at the end of the road. The accommodation was clean. The tv was a little bit of an issue as the remote does not work and you have to use the fire stick to get it to work. We had a little problem with this but Angie did come and get this sorted for us.

The Hideaway was very hot inside. This was due to the weather being he hottest that it had ever been 40 degrees which was almost unbearable. We didn't have a fan which made sleeping almost impossible. We feel that there should have been a fan in the room. Also we did know before booking that the accommodation was in the garden of the hosts property but did not realise that we would not be able to open the door of the living room as it would open onto the hosts garden. The bedroom windows too open onto the hosts garden which means that the curtains needed to be pulled as you were quite overlooked from the garden and the house.

Location was perfect for the beach and exploring. Accommodation was perfect. Clean and comfy.

The location was amazing

It was super clean and tidy and the host was lovely and her kids were too:) made us feel cry at home. It’s literally seconds from the beach!

Only thing I would change it I would have liked a bath. Only because we have two young kids and it’s not the easiest to shower them! But that’s it!

Perfect for a few night with our kids close to the beach. Great location.

nice kitchen, bedroom, good location.

tv didn’t work as Wi-Fi wasn’t good enough and mobile signal poor for fire stick. There were ants crawling throughout (although the owner did for-warn me of the problem. some of the crockery could have been cleaned better. Access to the property was restricted at times as I had to keep moving a cement mixer to get in. Also dog was barking every time I went outside and ran after me barking as I left on one occasion.
