Just "3 roundabouts" away from the Yumbo and a 20-minute straight walk to the dunes (Riu Golf) it is well placed for a stay in Playa Del Ingles. I booked a single room which, although basic, was well equipped (balcony, table, chair, drawer unit and double wardrobe). The room was clean as was the bedding and I found the bed to be very comfortable. I particularly liked the way reception worked, handing keys in each time you go out. I have stayed in hostels that are a free-for-all, allowing anyone to walk in and around to the rooms but here felt secure and the reception staff were on the ball. All the team were very friendly and obliging. The small attached shop, which stays open through the night (very useful), was a great bonus. Don't go expecting a room with a view, air conditioning, TV in the room, if that's what you want then pay (a lot) more but, if you're on a budget, like me and don't appreciate the fancier things it will do fine.

There was nothing that I greatly didn't like, minor inconvenience that the toilet/shower room was 15 seconds away, ha.

It was really good value for money. I was looking for a cheap place and this fit the bill. The staff were easy to deal with, and the room was fine (basic but ok).

Poor lighting on stairs. Expected at the very least a washbasin in the room.

You must leave the key in the reception every time you go out. In the main toilet, there is no proper intimacy.
