Had the King Suite and it was big, about two rooms in total size & separated with a well-placed door between bedroom and living quarters. Room decor was hip, dual A/C’s were very quiet, full size fridge worked perfect, water was nice & hot, and the lighting was fabulous. Room also rates A+ for cleanliness. The layout, furniture & decor both inside and outside this hotel was very appealing and fun.

Bathroom fixtures, while unique & stylish, had impractical mechanics and were very user unfriendly. Loved that there was a kitchen area, but without having a stove or oven to cook with, all the cabinetry present was unneeded. Why have storage for pots, pans, utensils or large plates if all you’ve got to cook food in is a small micro? That amount of storage space would’ve been better served in the bedroom, which had practically none.

My family and I enjoyed our 3-day stay better than any other prior experience. The room furnishings and appliances were in excellent condition as well as the hygiene of the facility. The complimentary breakfast was also very satisfying and we hope we can get future similar accommodations at this hotel in Tallahassee since our daughter is a Freshman at FSU

Accessibility, comfort, price, breakfast and cleanliness of bathrooms.

The gym smelled smoky or musty and there was a strange hole in the downstairs hall wall that was covered in stained towels.

Where to start: 1. The hot water in the bathroom sink cannot be regulated and has to turn the faucet all the way to right for it. 2. The bed was too soft and the covers did not come up very far.   3. Shower head was repaired with what looked like scotch tape. The leak caused the bathroom to flood.   Also, the shower does not have a stop to keep the water from coming out, so the floor gets wet every time. 4. There is no physical guide for the television, so you have to turn to a certain channel and scroll to see the schedule. 5. Kept having problems with the room key not working, even though it was there for several days.  Had to go back to the front desk to have it recoded which can be really inconvenient when you have to walk around the building in hot weather.   6. Room did not come with microwave and refrigerator which I had to request.  Never seen that before. 7. All of the furniture looked refurbished or old, like salvage from another hotel from long ago. 8. One of the  doors to go outside was right near the room I was in and every time someone went out, you could hear a loud bang.  If you tried to close it quietly, it would not close all the way. I understand they are  in the process of remodeling a years old nursing home that had been empty for several years. But this is no excuse to cause your guests inconvenience and dissatisfaction. Can say the lobby and breakfast area look nice..

Kanisha and Elizabeth went well above and beyond the standards of costumer service along with the Assistant General Manager Usha. They decorated the room for my son and his newlywed wife, with rose petals, champagne, chocolates, and candles.

Ok. Greater Variety would have been nice.

Suite furniture required cleaning. I.e. stains on sofa and chairs.

Booking.com lists the upgrade room as a suite when the upgraded room in Tryp's system is a bunkbed room. Front desk fixed issues upon request.

The staff was excellent. I like the way the room was designed.

The room had a musty smell and it could have used a light in the Al or by the full length mirror

Pipes were loud, no pool,eggs watery coffee always cold, double booked by mistake they refuse to cancel the other reservation

Breakfast was very good and I love their grits!!!! Amazing. The location is perfect. We come there for music venues and they're not more than 20 minutes in either direction.

Breakfast Ordinary for a motel. Not much variety. Sausage salty`. not worth the extra!!!

For Petes sake! Put refrigerators in the rooms. I can go to a red roof inn and get a refrigerator. no such luxury at TRYP. Love your place however will not be back for this one reason!!!!! At least room 302 had no such amenity. As a diabetic I expected to keep my insulin cold in a fridge not an ice bucket!!!

room was very spacious, and was a good external area to hang.

the breakfast was great. the staff was very friendly & the front desk was helpful during my stay. I would recommend this hotel.
