At first this location seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. This turned out to be a great characteristic. It was quiet and peaceful. Just the place to disconnect from the world when one wanted. Yet when one didn't, the internet or a streaming service was always there. Bar Harbor and all it has to offer was a quick 45 minutes away. You can sit in the back yard or on the porch and watch watc the sunset across the bay. We even saw a doe and a fawn cross the driveway.. The house was neat and tidy and felt like home. The beds were comfortable as well.

When one arrives for the first time, especially at night, it feels like you are lost in the middle of the woods. (dirt barely single lane road with only a small sign nailed to a tree to indicate that you are at the right place). But once you are there it is a fantastic place.

Great get away location. Very clean and well maintained and well kept. Family friendly.

Scenic location! Nicely decorated, welcoming and comfortable! Enjoyed kayaking and roasting hot dogs by the water.

Wish there were laundry machines. Small, economical ones.

This home has a beautiful setting right next to the water. The home was well furnished and loved the sun porch.

It is in need of a washer and dryer!
