We travelled with our family of eight adults and stayed at the house in early July. The house was very clean, had four bedrooms, high quality towels, and a lovely back porch. There were two sitting areas in the house and space for people to set up computers.

My complaint is not with the owner of the property, but rather with Booking.com and Vacasa. We booked our reservation in September for our July vacation. At the time, the advertisement for the house listed that it had a washing machine and dryer. Then, some time later, the owner chose to remove access to the washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately, neither Booking.com or Vacasa contacted us to notify us of the change. In fact, in our communications with Vacasa on the days prior to our arrival, we received addtional affirmations about the washing facilities and were specifically instructed to start a load of laundry prior to checking out. Not having a washing machine was a significant hassle for us. We called Vacasa to ask about this, but the customer service department was unhelpful. I was unimpressed and probably will not rent from Vacasa again. I think that both Booking.com and Vacasa should have notified us about this change so we could have prepared for the situation. The only other complaint I had is that the air conditioner in the front left bedroom did not work well at all. All of the other air conditioners were very effective.

*We enjoyed that there were lots of bedrooms so we had no issues making sleeping arrangements. *There was lots of seating in the two living rooms and it was nice that it was open to the kitchen. *It was nice having two and half bathrooms. *It was nice to have the option of a Keurig or drip brew coffee machine. *Because the house is surrounded by woods, it provided lots of opportunities to see birds and a large family of deer. *There is large deck in the back that would have been great if the weather was warmer.

*There were so many cameras everywhere, including on the office computer. It was a little concerning. *Since it was Thanksgiving weekend, we did a lot of cooking. The pots and pans and cooking utensils were everywhere - multiple drawers and multiple cupboards, and it was challenging to find what you needed. *There was an issue with the drip brew coffee machine every time we tried to use it. *The pillows on the beds were so flat that it made sleeping challenging. If the pillows are going to be that flat, supply extras for guests that need a different option. Extra blankets would also have been a nice gesture. *It was a little crazy that there were still AC units in the windows in November. The draft coming in the windows was uncomfortable. *The upstairs bathroom door didn't close all the way! With a see through shower curtain, never mind a toilet, having a door that wouldn't close was extremely frustrating! *Directions for the TV would have been helpful. Having never used a ROKU TV, we struggled to find the channels we wanted and live TV wasn't really an option. *It was advertised that we would have access to a washer/dryer in the basement, and that we were supposed to start a wash the day we checked out, but the door to the basement was locked. Not a big deal, but maybe don't include that in the home description.
