Loved the design, layout and furnishings of the house — very cute! Great garden as well!

We loved the cosy warm feeling of the home. Plenty of amenities and fully stocked kitchen utensils made it easy to entertain. The cosy fireplace was perfect for a winter holiday.

Unfortunately the BBQ didn't work as the jets needed cleaning. We also had an "allocation of wood" for the fireplace which wasn't enough to stretch out over the 2 nights! Definable not enough to use the fireplace either. Upon enquiry as to the perceived limit of wood, we were instructed to buy our own wood if we needed more. The rates we were paying would well and truly cover a few extra logs. Dissapointed!!

Very easy to access Keys however Key safe would not close when replacing keys on hook in Key safe and I advised Discover Daylesford who manage the property beautiful home in beautiful location and setting. well appointed home and gorgeous lovely gardens and I will def visit Trentham again, such a lovely town away from the madding crowds of Daylesford sparkling clean so well done to the housekeepers the wood heater was fabulous once we got it working

Split AC system in main living area either needs a thorough filter clean/ new and more powerful unit as the current one barely warms the enormous living space, it was pretty chilly on arrival and through the evening. Large kitchen window could benefit from a blind. Idiot proof instructions needed on how to use the wood heater that it is ready to light on arrival, to help City Slickers like us who do not own wood heaters. what to do with heater on departure Curtain rail on french doors was not secure -twice landed on our heads simply by opening /closing the curtains, luckily the curtain rod was light but needs properly fixing the fact that Discover Daylesford ( DD ) manage the property must be highlighted at time of booking DD were very helpful but I was frustrated when I got multiple auto texts asking me to provide further personal ID, given property was already 100% paid for. initially I thought these texts were scams /deleted them. When I rang DD - Marguerite was very helpful when I asked why I was being asked to register my personal info again and give even more ID ? Marguerite said the Property Insurers requested further ID, again I declined saying in 2023 with ID scams this is not OK given I had paid in full including in case of damages. Thanks to Marguerite and DD for being so helpful

Beautiful house. Also the gardens were gorgeous. Nice outdoor eating area too. Very spacious house and we all loved the decor.

Great location and a very homily cottage. Had all the basics to make dinner at home with ingredients bought from IGA. Was great that wood and kindling were supplied for the fire. Went down a treat.

We ran out of toilet paper between the two bathrooms on day 2. We ended up buying more. The house did get quite cold at night so extra blankets in the rooms would have been nice.
