very good value. central location, close to the ferry station. simple but clean rooms with fan, a/c and mosquito net. very friendly staff

during the night and day there were loud sounds coming from the train station. breakfast was very basic: one toast with omelette and tea but fair for the price.

The location is good, the rooms are nice and clean and the air conditioning work perfectly.

The staff seemed not to care for the guests. Not only was I charged extra for no apparent reason, they refused to give us a cup of hot water which I had to buy from a restaurant around 800m from the hotel. (To me this was not too much to ask).

convenience to town facilities, transport, ATMs, restaurants. it was lively place. i loved the fact of having 24/7 WIFI as well.

the hotel can do better regarding the facilities. EG bathroom facilities, the shower area should have curtains at least so avoid water splashes all over up to the toilet. creativity in breakfast is also required. they should be asking the kind of eggs a customer needs, and usually the egg was over cooked.

This hotel was good for the two nights we had to be in Dar es Salaam. To be honest there was not much to see or do in the area and we were warned from numerous people to watch our children and watch our bags. It was a bit unsettling. The hotel staff were friendly and kind and the place was clean enough.

I don't think that we will ever return to Dar es Salaam

The location is within walking distance to the ferry terminal and the city centre. The size of my room is adequate and it actually came with a balcony (which I didn't use since it was dusty).

Except for a small plate on the wall, there is nothing to indicate the hotel from the outside as it is entered through a small alley. The staff at the reception gave me a hard time when I asked for a late checkout while it only took a minute for the friendly manager to grant me one. They charged me slightly more than what Booking.com indicated and they also gave me the wrong info for the wifi.

I stayed one night there for my flight. one day before my flight, I got my bag stolen in the street. I lost everything, passport, cell phone, money,… staff helped me a lot for my police report, going to embassy for making emergency passport, … and manager offer us room for taking a rest after checkout and they pay for my taxi fee to airport. They have been a great comfort to me through all of this. I really appreciate. Thank you very much Mohamed and staffs! I’m home now.

Breakfast could be better.

Large, airy room with AC and a fan. Comfortable bed and very friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast was a little on the small side but tasty none the less.

Stayed one night here after arriving with the ferry and before going on safari. Close to the ferry port, you can walk here instead of taking a taxi. Rooms are nothing special but have ac and the price is good.

Lot´s of stair and no elevator.

the location is really good, close to the city center and to the Harbour. we had a room with AC - really worth it in Dar as is it really hot there.

For starters the breakfast was okay but as the days went by it became monotonous as it was the same thing everyday. Maybe think of several preparations/ kinds of breakfast.
