Convenient for my needs
Too close to the pub and Friday night drinking noisy to wee hours of the morning did not need that after a long day driving from Emerald Qld. Obviously not the first person to complain about the noise as big sighs up around the motel section of the Rix asking every one to keep the noise down people trying to sleep.

I liked the clean and tidy rooms after a long days drive. And a good working shower and fresh towels.
I didn't like that loud music from the pub. I found it hard to fall asleep. However I do understand I booked at a pub/motel and is to be expected.

People sitting outside our room from 6am smoking and watching loud movies on their phone with smoke entering the bathroom

The motel was well positioned in Charters Towers.
The room was significantly overpriced for what was offered. The bed was cramped against the wall. There was no table and only one chair.
The bathroom was almost as big as the living area.
The hotel attached is rowdy and we had people loudly speaking outside our room until the early hours of the morning

Asked for queen room given double.
The bed was hard against wall on 1 side not allowing the other person to access the toilet without disturbing other person exiting the bed.

staff were nice and it was central to everything, pub was lovely too.
room was dated for the price we paid. fridge wasn’t cleaned out and refilled after last clients stay. noisy from workers coming and going. bed was very hard and uncomfortable. no bedside tables. hot water took a while to come through, wasting a lot of water.

Comfy bed. Location to town centre was a bonus.
Shower was impossible to regulate. No milk for supplied coffee and tea. Air conditioner was useless. You get what you paid for.

No Breakfast was offered. Dinner was nice, the atmosphere of the dining room was good. The noise from the bar right next to it was loud. The room and area aound it was quiet. It was very close to the venue we were working at. The staff were helpful.
The rooms need a major upgrade, The toaster didn't work properly. The shower had a curtain that stuck to your legs. It was just a basic room which is what we expected.
