We made our own breakfast in the very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Nice lounge. Lovely peaceful location, loved the spa, only slight disadvantage was having to take the car to get to a restaurant. Friendly and helpful host.

Very spacious, immaculately clean, terrific views and gardens, friendly and helpful hosts, lovely sunny deck.

It was all great, just a little too far to walk to pub/restaurant but had a fully equipped kitchen for home cooking.

oh my! this place is amazing, we’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this one’s tops it! Amazing location, beautiful and spotlessly clean rooms. Ken and Steve are exemplary hosts. The labyrinth in the. backyard is a hidden magic garden. what a place, would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay at one of a kind place. Back garden looks like a small piece of paradise. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

AC in room is the only thing that would make our stay perfect, or at least a mosquito net to keep the bugs out while ventilating the room during the hot days

Not every room equipped with a bathroom. Some rooms have to share the bathroom with the room next door.

I like that it was out of town enough to be really quiet. The gentleman we dealt was top notch, great guy

The room was comfy and very large, and the close proximity to the Labyrinth track was lovely. Facility had everything. We didn't get time but jacuzzi looked lovely. Really friendly people and quiet (but need a car as out of town)

We didn't have an ensuite, so had to share the bathroom with other people. We probably didn't look carefully enough when we booked.

Other guests turning up late at night making a lot of noise with no consideration for those already asleep and the guests sleeping in the lounge

To sum up the Labyrinth Guest House in a single word... Sanctuary. We were able to unwind and relax in a super comfortable room with amazing views out over the garden which features rocky outcrops which adjoin the labyrinth rock special site next door. The spa pool was so relaxing after a long day pf travel and we slept like babies in the quiet room with windows open and cool Takaka breeze. Hosts were perfect, very informative but also respectful of your space and privacy. Having laundry and kitchen facility was added bonus to an already amazing property. We can't wait to return. The owners were also kind enough to let us charge our EV (pre-arranged) which is a tremendous convenience to start the day recharged,

Located in a beautiful garden setting. Access to the Labyrinth Rocks near the front door. The lounge and kitchen were spacious and immaculate.
