Both the house and the parking were hard to find. The homeowner wasn't very welcoming, No towels were provided, I had to ask for one! There was no TV in the room. Both the mini-fridge and the microwave needed cleaning! The only wall decor was life-size stenciling of Starwars characters - not very appropriate for a room let out to guests - some nice framed pictures/artwork would have been more appropriate! There was no interior lock on the bedroom door for safety.

A radio or TV in the room. Couldn't get the hairdryer to blow warm air, only cold. The pillow didn't smell fresh.

I certainly wouldn’t say it was ‘cheerful’ as the owners and other family members (appeared to be at least 2 families living there) were clearly engaged in a number of arguments during my 3 night stay. Parking is pot luck, Room is on third floor, which is a challenge if you have any mobility issue, strong smell of spicy food, baby crying all through the night and evening. Made to take shoes off at property entrance - appreciate that it’s somebody’s home, but the carpet was dirty, may possibly for religious reasons? Had to clean toilet as ‘evidence’ of previous occupant smattered all round pan. Wafer thin pillows. Just really substandard for the price when you consider that a premier inn is cheaper, which is exactly where I’ll be staying next time

I have no complaints. It was comfortable, the owner very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay.

Genuine welcome from house owner. Agreeable to putting a very small amount of my chilled food into his household fridge

Toilet was dirty and needed a proper clean. Door handle on my room was faulty and could have meant I might have been trapped either in or out of the room. The car parking is a big issue and you might have to leave your car some way from the stay location.

Nice size room

No lock on door. No towels, tiny bit of toilet roll. Large life size picture painted in black pointing at the main door with no lock of a man with a gun. Had to ask for a key to get in that night was then asked what time I would be home.

I liked the response time of the owner of the house, very quick. Also a very clean and pleasant room, shower was hot, very quiet.

I didn't like not having a kettle, as I expected a kettle, its in the description, i didnt like being accused of wearing shoes in his home, admittedly i did place my shoes on his carpet outside my room, the smell of curry is a little overwhelming, and no internet was a pain. As was parking as in no parking.

Good size private bathroom which was clean & tidy. A good assortment of shampoos & soaps, although not tried as I always use my own due to skin allergies; towel was comfortable. Bed gave a good nights sleep, room was warm. Host wasn't demanding and was polite too. Internet access was strong and fast enough for streaming youtube on a phone. Good value for the area.

Facilites were lacking, I was there for 2 nights so didn't bother me too much. No television, kettle or tea & coffee, which was a little weird as surely that's the minimum? Parking was possible nearby but wasn't great. I'm sure the host would be accomodating if asked for something, so I rate the room as good for a couple of nights and no big negatives.

There was no towels or basket in the room so I couldn't have a shower or shave when I left ( early) I texted to ask why ? and the proprietor said it's because of covid!!!!!! and I would have needed to request a towel.
