We loved this place! It is very close to the beach, as well as shopping, restaurants, and bike trails. It is fully equipped with beach gear and toys. We absolutely loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great house and perfect location. Beach just a couple minute walk. Coligny Plaza was a very short walk from the house and everything you need or want you can fine there. The house is equipped with everything you need. Beach toys, beach chairs, toys for the house, the pool(although it is small) it was perfect. Definitely get the pool heated, first day it wasn’t heated but they came the next day to turn it on. 2 of the closets are big enough for a pack n play, which worked out well for us. Without a doubt, we would stay at this house again.

Great location and accommodations for a family get together. Appreciated owners having beach towels available. It was too cold for beach going but the heated pool was very nice and enjoyed by all. There were plenty of beach items in the closet. This location is in walking distance to so many different places including the Piggly Wiggly for those items you forgot to pick up at Publix which is a quick 5 minute drive. You can also walk to Coligny for shopping, dining, and entertainment. A little past Coligny you can walk to Celebration park, the Sandbox, and the Art Cafe. The Art Cafe teams up with Rockfish Seafood and Steaks to allow parents a little get away while on their getaway.

We had 3 couples and 2 kids (ages 5 & 2). The house was the perfect space for privacy and family time. It had a well stocked kitchen and plenty for the beach - chairs & wagon. The pool was perfect for post nap fun! It is located less than a block to the beach, within walking distance of 2 parks and Piggly Wiggly plus much more. We would definitely enjoy staying again!!

We had an amazing time at The Beach Retreat. It was the perfect location. We barely had to get in our car the whole trip, which we loved. It was walking distance to plenty of restaurants, a very easy walk to the beach, but also out of the way of high traffic. The house was a wonderful layout, especially if you're sharing with two families. There was a closet full of toys, beach toys, beach chairs, and a beach wagon, which was awesome of our kiddos and much appreciated! The pool was a perfect size, we paid the small fee to warm it, being October, and I'm so glad we did. I loved having a cup of coffee with a book on the front porch in the mornings. Highly recommend. We will be back!

This property was exactly as shown. No misleading information. “90 second walk to beach” is accurate. Clean upon arrival. Disposal issues late one night and they came and fixed next morning. Great sized bedrooms! 8 adults and one two year old had a fabulous week. Would definitely rent again!

Such a great house! We had 6 adults and 2 young children stay for a week, everyone loved it. Walked 2 minutes to the beach each day, rinsed off with the outdoor shower, then spent more time in the pool. You can walk to get your groceries, or have a great selection of restaurants to choose from for each meal. Tons of beach toys, chairs, umbrella to use while you're staying here. Property managers were very responsive with any questions or concerns. Would love to stay here again!

The house was in a perfect location - close to the beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. The house was also a great size and well equipped. We would definitely stay there again!

Loved 2 Curlew!! A 2 min (at most) walk to miles of beautiful beach. Just a five minute walk from shops, restaurants and groceries. The house is very nice - 4 big bedrooms with 3 spacious attached bathrooms. Pool, while small was great for a post beach dip. Nice quiet neighborhood too. Would definitely come back

Great location - very close to the beach and Cologne Plaza. We had a GREAT TIME! House was well equipped. The only thing missing was a pot to cook spaghetti.

Everything about the property and experience was top notch. The house was exceptionally clean, the pool was appropriately sized for our small party, and was so close to the beach. Our only hiccup was that the downstairs AC unit was not working initially, but the property owners addressed the problem immediately! We would definitely stay here again!

I feel like we picked the most perfect place on the island! The location is fabulous, so easy to get to Coligny Plaza , just a short walk. The beach was so close. Rooms are spacious. Love the fact that every bedroom has their own bathroom and Roku enabled TV. Very well stocked kitchen. Closet full of toys - pool and beach. Beach towels and wagon to carry things to beach . Yes, the pool is small, but definitely serve the purpose. Nice deck area. Great laundry facilities. The beach towels a bonus. Owners very nice to work with and responsive to messages. We had a family of five adults and a four year old and we could all fit on the couch at the same time!

Overall the property was very nice I would rent it again I will just ask that there would be ice made ahead of time and the towels were rough and there was only one hand towel and one washcloth per set of towels so each master bedroom got two bath towels one hand towel and washcloth and the other bedrooms were the same so there was not enough towels and washcloths to go around and that everything was fantastic

The house is in a perfect location! Steps to the beach and Coligny Plaza. This was our first time in the North Forest Beach area and we loved it! The home is spacious with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The home is immaculate with up to date appliances. Lots of glassware and dishes . The house is equipped with everything you need for the beach (even a wagon). The pool was refreshing in the evening after a day at the beach. The owner was so easy to work with and communicated with us several times before our arrival. We usually stay in a condo in the Folly Field beach area but this will be our new place!

The location was even better than what we expected. We’ve stayed close to Coligny for years but this house was an easy walk to the beach, groceries, restaurants and shops. I think we only started the car twice the whole week! The property owners were very personable and available. Would definitely stay again!

The house we rented this past week was great. It was within walking distance to Coligney Circle and just a few minutes from the beach. House was very clean, well stocked with cooking appliances and utensils, and rooms were spacious. I would highly recommend this rental if you are considering a family vacation in Hilton Head.

Nice location close to shops and dining. Plenty of room for the whole family. Private pool was just the right size.

The proximity to the beach and Coligny shops was the main reason we chose this property. The house had plenty of room for 2 families and had all the beach equipment we would need. The pool-while small-was the perfect temperature. The pool furniture needs replaced and the mosquitoes were really bad. (Not sure if you can spray for that-but the evenings could not be spent around the pool). So to the beach we went! Overall I give our stay an 8 out 10.

My family (ranging in ages from 1 - 71) just spent an amazing week in this beautiful home. The home has just about anything you could need - high chair, pack n play, bed rail, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, pool floats, wagon, games, books, etc. The layout was perfect with two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The living room has a very nice sectional that offered plenty of seating. The dining room table is very big with ample seating for everyone. The pool is small but it was perfect for us and the little ones. Location to the beach is great and Coligny is just a quick walk away. We all very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely be interested in renting this home again someday. Thank you for sharing your beautiful HHI home with us for the week.

The house is great. Pictures are very accurate. The location is great. 1-2 minute walk to beach, no busy road to cross. About a 3 minute walk to Coligney Plaza, with tons of shops and restaurants. They have lots of beach towels and beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas. The house accommodated 2 families and we had plenty of room. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was just what we hoped for and more. It is well appointed and furnished remarkably well. The location was perfect.....so close to everything we needed and wanted to do. We will definitely come back again. BJS

This property has a wide open floor plan, was in excellent condition, & very clean. The heated pool was the perfect size for relaxing. The owners are great folks, super accommodating & local if you have any issues (we did not). The location was perfect, just far enough from the Coligny Beach & Shops (food & grocery) to not have any foot traffic, but close enough for convenience. There is beach access within about 200 yards, just at the end of Curlew Road. We plan on renting this same property for next years week long vacation.

The location of the house is great! Shopping and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk. The beach is about a 60 second walk. The open floor plan of the home was perfect for our party of 8. We loved the natural lighting from the skylights. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The temperature of the pool was perfect. The owners were quick to respond to a small pool issue. We would definitely stay again!

The house had everything we needed for two families of four. Not only were the basic essentials provided, but there was even a closet full of beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked for grilling and cooking. LOCATION IS AMAZING, close to beach, shops, restaurants. The pool was nicely heated for a cool spring day. Owner was responsive and gracious. Highly recommend!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 9 (8 adults and one toddler. ) We loved the location - close to the beach and Coligny Plaza. We spent a lot of time in the pool as well. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking family meals. Tbe owner even stopped by to drop off barbecue tongs. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely reserve this home again! Thank you for a great week!
