We had a very positive stay at Tropical Retreat. The property is in a great location and was very comfortable. It was as presented on the website and the property managers were great to work with.

Centrally located to everything in Key West. The front porch was amazing and to sit in the evening and have a glass of wine overall enjoyed our week vacation.

Reviewer Comments: The property was fairly clean and well maintained, though someone had broken something glass in one of the rooms and my grandfather ended up with glass in his foot. The area is BEAUTIFUL and the house was in a great location. The only issue we had was a past guest showed up with a key they had forgotten to return a month before. It was unnerving to know people were walking around with keys to the doors. There are no latches, so if someone has a key they can 100% come into the home. We would overall rent from the company again and found the people managing the property to be exceptionally kind and responsive to any questions/needs!!!

We loved our stay at Tropical Retreat in Key West. The location was perfect with walking distance to tourist spots, bars and restaurants, but far enough away to have privacy and some quiet. The house itself was perfect for 3 couples and the pool was a huge plus to relax in the mornings and afternoons. We will be back!

Comfortable property. Great location. Super comfortable beds. Great pool. Awesome house! Host is always available and is easy to communicate with. Wouldn’t think twice about staying again. Only recommendation is to provide coffee filters! Thanks again.

Location was great. Bathrooms need attention- shower heads are awful- time for upgrade. Toilet in front bedroom had to remove cover to flush. Knives in block had food on them. Broken tiles in kitchen- might need addressing. Pool house AC wasn’t enough for hot days- wouldn’t advise during super hot months. Bathroom in pool house was very nice. Heated pool was a nice bonus & size was fantastic!

Great property with plenty of space for grown up sons. Pool cabana was a plus for extra space! Easily walk to all that Key West has to offer! Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable home.

Everything about this house was perfect. Perfect location, beautiful home, pool and close to Duval St. Driveway for parking and the best was the separate cottage. It was perfect for privacy for multiple guests. I would definitely recommend this property. Sooo glad we chose this location and home. Brian our property host was so attentive and helpful. We loved the location! They decor was quaint and very clean. Very comfortable linens and well stocked kitchen supplies. The owner was very responsive with our questions. We loved the pool and the neighborhood was mostly quiet except for the Rooster Crows at 4am. LOL! Best VRBO stay ever! We only have a few recommendations: Rooster deterrent and darkening drapes for all bedrooms and lamps in the cabana. Thanks for having us!

This home, pool and guest house were a perfect fit for my family. We loved our time in Key West because we had the perfect place to come home to every night after each adventure!

This is a pristine historic home that gives you an authentic Key West experience right off Duval. The home is located on the “quieter” end of the street, a good strategic choice for families: you are walking distance to everything but a world away from the craziness. The property manager was a true professional and the house was well stocked. This is the only house on the street that has off-street parking. If you happen to have dogs, it is also on the same block as the best patches of grass on the entire island (at the government building of course).

Wonderful home and great location just off Duval St. We had 7- adult family members at the house which comfortably met everyone's needs and expectations. Pool was nice was nice as well. Brian the manager formthe property was very professional and easily accessible

This place is a hidden gem. Based on everything in KW it was better than we expected and the location to Duval was very nice. The pool area is like a quiet oasis. Highly recommend this rental.

One of the best managed places we have stayed in the keys. Communication was top notch. House was just as expected. Pool area was perfect and beautiful and location was outstanding. Will definitely rent again!

Walking distance to CVS, scooter rentals and many restaurants. The pool was really nice to have and was very peaceful in the back area. Great property - loved the pool and private casita. Kitchen needs a few more cooking utensils / cookware to make a proper meal. Usually people will leave spices (did have salt and pepper)...but not here. Be sure to bring your own, including coffee. All in all we made do and had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.

This property was great our sibling yearly vacation Very roomy clean with everything we needed. It is located not even a block off of Duvall within walking distance to most everything. communication with property manager was excellent, hope it is available the next time in the area because we will stay there forsure

This property was a half of a block from Duval Street. Everything was right at your fingertips. The house was very spacious and beautiful. The property manager responded very quick and he was very welcoming. The pool was warm and big and the backyard was gorgeous! There was also an outside cottage with a King bed. The only thing was that the outside cottage was sprayed heavily with a disinfectant maybe to the mattress that may be sensitive to people with allergies and asthma.

Absolutely everything was perfect. House has so much Key West charm and character and the location is simply perfect. House was super clean, pool was great, and there were plenty of beach towels, linens, etc. No complaint’s whatsoever. We had a great time reconnecting with the kids and enjoying all things Key West. Will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip.
