Found a couple roaches but other than that it was great

This is a perfect location if you are planning lake time. We were able to dock our boat right there at the house which was really great. It’s in a nice neighborhood and it was easy to communicate with the owner. The house was fine for our needs - a bit rustic and retro as you might expect for a lake house though we didn’t spend much time inside. If you’re planning on cooking at all, you may want to bring your own essentials - the kitchen items are quite used plus you may need storage/plastic containers, plastic wrap/foil, and, if you’re more than 2 people, perhaps paper goods. And a wine opener - we were caught without right as dinner was starting. The grill was quite dirty so we decided not to use it. All in all, we enjoyed our time at the house and on the lake.

We had such a great time for a weekend trip! The owners were very responsive and very helpful. We live in Georgia and met family friends from Virginia there with our children and it was perfect! Highly recommend!

Everything was great. The location and right on the lake was perfect. Plenty of room for all of the family . Only thing I found wrong was there was a lot of lightbulbs parked out. But that was no problem.

What a fabulous location and home. Everyone enjoyed the outdoors and lake activities. Perfect home for celebrations! We will be renting again next summer!!

House was comfortable and the location was great. Lakefront was a hit for fishing off the dock for catfish. Had a great time and look forward to next year!!

The house is great, location on the lake is perfect, tucked away in a beautiful quiet cove. The house makes you feel right at home, a home similar to something you grew up in, vert welcoming. The only negative is the neighbors, not very welcoming to a VRBO near them. I witnessed one particular gentleman, pass by atleast four times that I witnessed, I guess looking for trouble, which is I understand, but this was not a group of teenagers or college students, I would say the average age of the group was 50. If you just ignore neighbors staring at you, the house is amazing, and the owner was great to work with. Definitely worth staying!!

The house was a very well equipped and perfect location for a getaway to the lake. All necessary utensils and items stocked well in the kitchen and the place was very comfortable and relaxing. Great dock for a day and evening hangout with the kids for the birthday on the lake. Thank you to Robert for a great stay and graduation celebration for my children.

This is a great place to stay for a long weekend with friends. The house was very clean and everything worked. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time on Lake Norman.

We stayed here with another family to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We loved the space to hang out both inside and outside, and the kitchen and bar area worked well for some buffet meals. And the owner/manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the key (our own fault!)

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakehouse! We were in town for the ZMAX 4 Wide and enjoyed the gorgeous views and being able to fish off the dock! Can't beat this rental!!

We stayed at the lake house for 3 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday and loved the place. The house had a FULLY stocked kitchen, tons of towels and had a nice set-up that separated the bedrooms from the rest of the house. The bar area was awesome and we spent most of our time in there. There were a couple things that could use a little TLC but overall it was a great place. We would rent again!

Loved the property. This isn’t the fanciest property around but has all you need for a great trip. The location on the lake was awesome. We paddle boarded and enjoyed a float off the end of the dock. Overall a great experience!

We rented the property for our league's fantasy football draft weekend and could not be happier with the house. There was plenty of room our entire group (10 people) with a lot of space on the property for the activities we had planned for the weekend. Everything was as advertised and Robert was also very quick to respond to all of our questions.

This is a comfy, low frills house that was perfect for our group of friends to get together for the weekend. Two large gathering spots with sofas, and a great bar in one of the gathering rooms to set up drinks and snacks. Tucked away but also super close and convenient to the highway. We enjoyed floating in the water off the dock, and passing boats were all friendly! The loft with a futon is obviously open to the house, so it would probably not be great for a light sleeper, but it worked fine for our setup. Hosts replied promptly to questions and check-in was easy. Thanks again!

This property is no fuss, come to relax, enjoy the company you bring, the ease of the house, the serenity of the cove, the immediate access to good swimming, and moments away from open water. It’s lake stay at its best.

This was great for our get together for my husband's 40th. The backyard has amazing shade to for hanging out, great space inside for everyone and being right there on the lake allowed us to rent a boat to take out during our stay. Everything was clean and perfect for us. Definitely one of the nest times we've had ar a VRBO property.

The listing is just as shown. Beautiful lake location on inlet. We swam everyday off the dock. Fished from the dock. Rented a boat for water sports from Morning Star marinas 12 minute drive from house and parked it at dock during our full day rental. Lots of shade to enjoy the back deck to eat and for games. Kitchen has all needed cookware to bake and cook. We had a wonderful stay! Family of 5 with 3 children (8-12) and grandmother.

A wonderful retreat for those looking to be near the water!

We had an excellent time staying at this property and were immediately impressed by the location, cleanliness and ease of access -- and this was before we went down to the dock! The location was perfect for a rental boat pickup and a great place to hang out along the water, while the house had the perfect amount of accommodations for our group. We couldn't have asked for anything better!
